Police divers located on Sunday the body of Nahed a-Sariya, 26, the last of three brothers who drowned on Thursday off Ashkelon coast. Nahed's body was found near the body of Atef a-Sariya, 16, the youngest of the three brothers. The body of his brother Suleiman, 19, was found on Saturday.

Atef’s body was found a short distance from the place where Suleiman’s was found, near the wave-breaks just off the coast. The body was drawn from the water, where family members identified it.

Preliminary investigations showed that on Thursday afternoon, two of the brothers were swept out to sea while swimming. Three other family members rushed to help them after noticing the two were in distress. Two of the rescuers managed to escape the tricky waters, but the others were swept away by the strong currents.

The brothers’ father, Hassan a-Sariya, told Haaretz earlier on Saturday that he would not bury the bodies until all the brothers had been found. “I want to bury all three together," he said. "They drowned together, and they will be buried together."
Divers and aerial search teams took part in the search operation.
