Officers from the Border Police hot on the trail of of illegal drugs were left red-faced on Thursday night when they stumbled upon a different kind of party – finding themselves intruding on a gathering of swingers.
The volunteer police officers raided Moshav Beit Hanan in central Israel after spotting a compound that raided their suspicions. Inside the compound they found a laboratory for growing hydro marijuana, and two suspects. The suspects fled, and the pursuing police gave chase, all the way to a closed area where they stumbled upon dozens of people clad in robes.
A brief investigation revealed that the scantily clad crowd was in the throes of a swingers' party. The police made their excuses and left, with the two drug suspects in hand.
