An anonymous petition began circulating Monday on the Web calling for the anti-abortion group Efrat to be struck off the register of nonprofit associations. The petition comes after the family of 18-year-old Raz Atias, who was killed by police volunteers after allegedly firing on them and threatening to kill his pregnant girlfriend, said Efrat had brainwashed the young couple.

Efrat volunteers stalked me from Hadassah hospital where I had received news that I had an ectopic pregnancy. The women saw that I was distressed, concluded that I was Russian, secular and eager to have an abortion.( I was married for 3 years, religious and that was my first pregnancy). over my protests, they whipped out a book with graphic pictures of aborted fetuses. I was traumatized. Also Efrat keeps these same books in hadassah hospital's gynaecology ward. I saw these myself, again under unpleasant circumstances. They are out of control! Riki
thank you
