Ozzy Osbourne to perform in Israel in the summer
Former Black Sabbath singer joins a rapidly expanding list of global music stars who will be performing in Israel this summer.
By Haaretz ServiceLegendary British heavy metal rocker and former Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne is to perform in Israel in September, his official website has announced.

The performance will apparently take place on September 28, at Park Hayarkon in Tel Aviv, as part of a tour which begins in Folkstone, Britain on June 29.
Other destinations on the international tour include Moscow, Athens and Istanbul, as well as numerous stops in the United States.
Osbourne joins a rapidly expanding list of global music stars who will be performing in Israel this summer. Those set to appear include Elton John, The Pixies and Rod Stewart.
Last year, Israel hosted an array of world famous performers, including The Pet Shop Boys, Madonna, Lady Gaga, Leonard Cohen, Depeche Mode and Morrissey.

Israel is still attracting A list performers every summer because it's a great place to perform. You can call them "over the hill" all you want but you know that artists like Paul McCartney, Madonna & ozzi are star headliners. Your comments are the definition of sour grapes. Seems like the best indicator of prosperous societies is when entertainers flooding the country. It is amazing how fast Israeli society grew in such short period of time. Becoming an economic power competing with nations that been here for centuries is unbeleivable.. Tourists flock to Israel, Israeli scientists propelled technology and health to the forefront, beautiful constructions are booming all over the Jewish State... I am very impressed with Israel!!!!

Perhaps this is one way to get around the reluctance of so many israeli officials reluctance to leave israel due to potential war crimes warrants. Bring the entertainment to israel, so nobody has to leave?
