Labor polls open: Peretz, Herzog battle for No. 2 spot
Labor ticket expected to include a few new faces alongside incumbent Knesset members; former Defense Minister Amir Peretz buoyed by past promotion of Iron Dome.
Without computerized voting or "hit lists," members of Labor heading to polls on Thursday to choose the party's slate in the January Knesset election. Around 63,000 party members are eligible to vote in the primary, determining the placement on the Labor ticket of the 83 candidates. The results are not expected before early Friday morning.
