A 33-year-old man from Jerusalem died on Saturday of H1N1 swine flu at the Hadassah Hospital on Mount Scopus.

The man arrived at the hospital in serious condition on Thursday.

The seasonal flu vaccine available for free at every health clinic in Israel provides protection against swine flu.

More than 750,000 Israelis - about 1/10 of the population - have thus far received flu vaccinations this year. 46 percent of those who received vaccinations were above the age of 65.
