Two large facilities for recycling waste and producing energy from it will be built in the central region of Israel over the next few years.
The Interior Ministry has approved the construction of one such large plant at the site of the old Hiriya garbage dump, where a large portion of the Dan region’s waste will be recycled or used to produce energy.
