Israel's Supreme Court shortens prison sentence of former IDF soldier Anat Kamm
Kamm, who was sentenced to four-and-a-half-years in prison after she handed over classified military documents to Haaretz, says she did not intend to endanger state security.
Israel's Supreme Court reduced by one year the prison sentence of former Israel Defense Forces soldier Anat Kamm, who was convicted of handing over classified documents to Haaretz reporter Uri Blau. Kamm, who was originally sentenced to four-and-a-half years, will now serve three-and-a-half years in jail and another year and a half suspended sentence as per the original punishment.
