How easy is it to get hold of illegal firearms in Israel?

is a main component of the Israeli economy. Israel is the fourth largest arms exporter in the world , not only high tech weapons systems but small firearms and ordnance(like the Uzi). The debate on gun control in Israel is non-existent , why would any country cut the source of its main income?.... Go to Africa and Latin America and you find many armies of dictators equipped with Israeli made weapons etc...

The article decries the availability of legally obtainable firearms in Israel, and then cites the number of crimes committed with ILLEGAL firearms? Excuse me, but the logic there seems to break down somewhere. LOL. Typical anti-gun rant.

Gun contriol has nebver proven to work. All it insures is that teh victims can not fdefend themseoves. One need only look to Hitlers Germany and gun control, and as a result how many millions went to tehir death unable to defend tehmselves from Nazi and SS. Sandy Hook was not about teyh gun, but about a kid who was clearly with mental issues. Why was he allwoed to slip between teh cracks. Several times now people with Aspbergers disease have gone and killed people. Perhasps the issue is why npo data exists ijnh this area that could have allowed fior closer scrutiny. We now have over 20 dead, maybe we will learn to look closer at people with mental disorders. But With Obama and his ilk they will blame teh gun and not look to the mental health issue because its easier. Keep in mind over 250,000 people a year die from medical misadventure. Not everyone has a gun in teh US but the majority have a doctor. Wonder where the attention should be
