For first time in history, Technion to teach engineering in Russia
Israeli university hopes to lure top students from Former Soviet Union to course, which is based on a similar program in English.
Haifa's Technion is to teach courses in Russian next year for the first time in its history. Russian-speaking students in the international engineering and sciences programs of the Technion Institute of Technology will study in Russian in their first year, along with Hebrew-language studies. In the second year they will begin to take their course work in Hebrew.
