Air quality is an important measure of the success of environmental policy. It was the motivation for the first laws passed in industrialized nations against environmental pollution. It is also the area in which the earliest studies were done that found a link between prolonged exposure to pollution and a rise in morbidity and mortality.

"Air quality in both Israel and the United States has improved in the past few decades." I live in Los Angeles and the air quality I breathe is worse than it has ever been, and the air officials couldn't care less. They will only look at the "big picture". The air I breathe is my problem, not theirs. Air quality control in the USA is a cleverly contrived SCAM. IF YOU TRAVEL TO LOS ANGELES BRING YOUR OWN AIR AND A GAS MASK
thank you
