Israel arrests minors suspected of hate crime against Palestinians
Four youths allegedly set fire to a cafe in the village of Dura al-Qara and wrote 'Revenge' on the building.
Israel arrested Monday four minors suspected of committing a hate crime in the village of Dura al-Qara.
Palestinians in the village, located in the Benjamin Regional Council, reported on August 18 that a café had been set on fire, and that vandals had left behind Hebrew graffiti reading "Revenge."
An undercover police investigation was conducted leading to Monday's arrest of the minors in Jerusalem and in the Benjamin region. The suspects were brought in for questioning by the unit responsible for investigating hate crimes.
They are expected to be brought to the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court for their remand hearing. The hearing will be held behind closed doors because the suspects are minors.
