A 39-year-old man was found dead with scissors stuck in his neck in a Tel Aviv apartment on Monday afternoon.

The owner of the building on Dizengoff Street tried to enter the apartment and speak to the tenant. When no one answered the door, he entered by force and found the man lying dead inside.

Police suspect the man was murdered.

Paramedics said they found the man unconscious and without a pulse. He was not breathing and had signs of violence on his upper body. They pronounced him dead at the scene shortly afterward.

Forensic experts are investigating the incident.
