Herzog: Poverty is strategic threat to Israel
Labor chairman and opposition head says the fact that half of workers earn less than 5,000 shekels a month shows 'something in the system isn't working.'
“Half the salaried workers earn about 5,000 shekels ($1,430) a month. Salaries are distorted. Something in the system isn’t working,” said opposition chairman Isaac Herzog Tuesday.
