While Tunisia boils over an alleged sex-related fatwa, the Syrian opposition continues to quarrel like the countries arming it.
Repercussions from the Syrian rebellion spilled over into Tunisia last week. The Tunisian minister for religious affairs, Noureddine al-Khademi, warned sharply against obeying a fatwa allegedly issued last year by an important Saudi cleric, Muhammad al-Arifi, calling on Muslim women to join the Free Syrian Army as lovers, no less.
