Two days before Egyptian elections: A look at candidates’ foreign policy
A look at each of the leading candidates’ platforms shows that foreign policy – though not a top priority – could shape Egypt’s ‘new age.’
Amr Moussa's election platform is 85 pages long, but the former secretary of the Arab League, former foreign minister, and the person more versed in Egyptian foreign policy than anyone else, decided to relegate the discussion of foreign policy only to its 75th page. He is not alone. Foreign policy doesn't seem to figure very highly in the priorities of any of the candidates for the Egyptian presidency.
