Syrian government receives badly needed Russian diesel
Shortages of diesel and other fuels in Syria reaches critical levels as the war-torn country finally receives two cargoes of gas-oil on Monday, despite European Union sanctions.
Two shipments of diesel fuel have reached war-ravaged Syria this month, providing the first significant volumes in months of the fuel it desperately needs to power industry and the military, generate electricity and heat homes.
