The opposition has casted doubts on the reports regarding the attack. The al-Arabiya channel televised photos of a Syrian news correspondent scattering bags near the site of the attack. The correspondent claimed later that the bags belonged to the victims of the bombing.

According to the opposition, eyewitnesses in the Maidan neighborhood reported that tens of ambulances were in the area approximately three hours prior to the initial reports of the bombing. They added that state-run news crews began their on-site coverage of the attack almost immediately after it occurred.
Furthermore, opposition sources said that some of the photos distributed yesterday were from an attack that occurred two weeks ago in Damascus, on the day of the Arab League observer mission’s arrival in the country.
The opposition believes that the government’s claim that they are responsible for the attack is dubious, and an attempt of the regime to stifle dissent within Maidan. Moreover, they claim that while the Syrian government claimed that most of the wounded were civilians, the attack struck a bus that was carrying security forces that were on their way to suppress anti-government protests that were planned for Friday afternoon.
Meanwhile, thousands of government supporters gathered in mosques across Damascus for the funerals of the dead, and called for the removal of the Arab League monitors from the country. The Arab League is slated to convene an emergency meeting in Cairo on Sunday, where they will discuss the possibility of withdrawing the observers from Syria as the regime’s violence against anti-Assad activists continues unabated.

In fact, this is an Israeli specialty.
I have heard that the Mossad feared to operate in Syria although they have no problem with operating in Lebanon.
no claims that it was a false flag mossad operation? the israel-haters allover the world will be disappointed.
The only thing known for sure is that no one can really know what's going on in Syria because there is no independent media there.
The Palestine and Israel conflict after 65 years is still not close to peace. So too expect Syria to settle the unrest in such short time is unreasonable. give Assad enough time to show he can lead Syria back to unity.
This is the work of hezbollah, they are the ones who invented suicide bombers. But Syria should nt worry, it is the chicken coming back to roost.
Several hundred exterminated children are dangerous terrorists? That's a far-fetched case to make. Dr. Assad needs a psychiatrist, and the ICC needs Bashar al-Assad's hide.
Children who participate in such activities are either looking for recognition by their respective communities, or are directly sacrificed by them because the West is sensitive only to blood as far as Arabs are concerned.
You can't have it both ways. If you believe that the Mossad is active and effective then you must believe that the Mossad is involved in making trouble for Israel's enemies. If they are not, then what use are they?
No wait, we saw them very clearly on CCTV in Dubai. Haven't they done anything since then? Don't they draw a paycheck? Please tell us what the Mossad does if not make trouble in Syria.
You think Assad thinks like you do? His father killed 20,000 people in Hama back in the 1980's like you or I would swat a mosquito. I'm not saying that this was definitely done by him but I would not doubt for one moment that Assad was capable of this act. Try not to be so naive.
The Arab League is worth nothing.
You may recall the Hariri assassination. Israeli agents killed Hariri with a bomb. Israeli spies in the Lebanon telephone company rigged phone records to appear as "circumstantial evidence" against Hizbollah. The UN played along and said that the evidence was good enough to go forward. Later they set a date for announcing the indictments. During that time the Israeli spies in the telephone company were unmasked and made a dash for Israel. The case fell apart and was never heard from again. When it appeared that the villains were not Hizbollah, nobody had any interest in finding out who the true villains were. Now in Syria we start with a bombing, same as before. Israel's enemy is blamed, same as before.
was a dabbler compared to you
If you want to accuse the Mossad of killing the Hamas arms dealer in Dubai, killing the Hezbollah military leader in Damascus or for creating the Stuxnet virus, that makes sense. But it makes no sense for Israel to kill a pro-western leader in Lebanon. Also, the UN found evidence that Hezbollah operatives did this. That makes sense. Think about this: After the fall of Egypt's Mubarak and the rise of anti-Israel Islamists, do you think Israel is thrilled with the Idea of Assad falling. Israel and the Assad government are not friends but at least there was stability with him there. In any case, what's happening in Syria is completely internal. Israel has nothing to do with it. Stopping blaming everything and anything on Israel. You only make yourself look delusional.
"harzion", you and your Israel-hating cronies have obviously got the popularity, as there are billions more Christians and Muslims than Jews, and they have had no choice for ages but to deny Jews validity so as to validate their own faiths. This inane, inherited hate and stupidity is by now so obvious that your weak drivel is seen by anyone with a brain as nothing more than weak drivel. Mazal tov!
Other than Hezbollah and its fans, all the world accepts that Hezbollah killed Hariri on their march to take control of Lebanon. Israel had nothing to gain in the death of Hariri.
case fell apart? never heard from again? Anybody who reads the Lebanese press knows the case is very active. The only roadblock right now is Hezbollahs refusal to turn over the culprits, but justice will be done one way or another
The case against the Hezbollah members who killed Hariri goes on. Lebanon recently decided to continue to help find the STL. To say the case fell apart is either delusional or a silly lie that is easily refuted.
