Egypt's Army: Military Chief to Serve as Defense Minister Under Islamist President

Egypt's army rulers indicated they would not revoke a constitutional amendment supporting their rule of the country, a spokesman for the Supreme Council of the Armed forces said on Wednesday, adding that the panel's head, Field Marshal Hussein Tantawi would serve as the next cabinet's defense minister.
