More questions than answers in the poisoned fog of war
The West is between a rock and a hard place and can’t take action against Syria without proof that the regime used chemical weapons.
The horrible recent tragedy in Syria that killed hundreds of people, most of them women and children, has placed Western states in an impossible dilemma. None of these countries wants to launch a ground or air campaign in Syria at present. Nevertheless, they all realize that something must be done, although no one can suggest a course of action.
