Research chief Baidatz: The Iranian clock is ticking faster than the clock of international dialogue.

Baidatz made the comments at a meeting of the Knesset's Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, during which he also said the Islamic Republic's nuclear program was outpacing the international negotiations aimed at thwarting it.
"The Iranian clock is ticking faster than the clock of international dialogue," said the brigadier general.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, speaking at the same session on Monday, said that during his meeting with U.S. President Barack Obama it was agreed that Tehran will not be allowed to develop nuclear weapons.
Israel, the United States and other western nations believe Iran's nuclear program is aimed at covertly manufacturing atomic weapons. Iran, the world's fourth largest oil producer, says the program is for civilian purposes only.
