Foreign Minister expected to face pro-Palestinian demonstrators during his visit at the Foreign Office.
By Haaretz Service Tags: Israel news UK Avigdor LiebermanForeign Minister Avigdor Lieberman on Tuesday arrived in London for low-key talks with his British counterpart, David Miliband.
According to various media reports, hardline foreign minister was to face pro-Palestinian demonstrations during his visit.
Lieberman's European visit - which had included meetings in Rome, Paris and European Union talks in Prague ? is his first official trip abroad.
The foreign minister said last week that he had traveled to Europe to exchange opinions on Israel's new policies and push for a planned upgrade in EU relations, which some officials in the bloc have threatened to put on hold.
The content of Lieberman's Europe meetings has been kept mainly out of the public eye. As he kicked off the tour, however Lieberman skirted around the issue of a Palestinian state, expressing commitment to peace but not a two-state solution.
