'Israelis no longer allowed in Dubai after Hamas hit'

Police chief Tamim says local police will train in recognizing the physical appearance of Israelis.

By News Agencies and Barak Ravid Haaretz Service Tags: Israel Mossad Israel news

Dubai's police chief said on Monday that travelers suspected of being Israeli will not be allowed into the United Arab Emirates even if they arrive with alternative passports.

Lt. Gen. Dahi Khalfan Tamim says the move comes after the killing of a Hamas operative in Dubai, blamed by the Emirates authorities on Israel's Mossad spy agency.

Tamim said a 26-member team used European and Australian passports to enter the country in January and kill Mahmoud al-Mabhouh.

"We will not allow those who hold Israeli passports into the UAE no matter what other passport they have," Tamim said.

He did not explain what procedures would be used to identify the Israeli visitors, except that the police will "develop skills" to recognize Israelis by "physical features and the way they speak."

It was also unclear if the measure would apply to Israeli athletes competing in international sports events in the Emirates and how it could affect Israel's participation in international meetings here.

It was unclear if the measure would apply to Israeli athletes competing in international sports events being held there, such as tennis player Shahar Peer, a recent semifinalist in the local WTA tennis tournament.

The comment came as earlier, Tamim had charged Mossad with insulting Dubai as well as countries whose forged passports were used by its agents in the assassination of a Hamas military commander last month.

The Dubai police chief also said a 27th member of the team that killed Mahmoud al-Mabhouh in his hotel room last month had been identified, saying only that she was a woman.

"Mossad shouldn't come to us. We haven't done anything to Israel. This is an insult to us, to Britain, to Australia, to Germany and to New Zealand and it's shameful," Tamim told reporters in Dubai, a member of the United Arab Emirates.

Israel has not confirmed or denied it played any role but Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman said there was nothing to link it to the killing. Hamas says Mabhouh played a role in smuggling weapons from Iran into the Gaza Strip, which Hamas runs.

The UAE, an Arab state that backs Palestinians seeking an independent state, has no diplomatic relations with Israel.

But it has established low-level political and trade links in recent years, with some Israeli officials attending events in the Gulf Arab state. Israeli tennis player Shahar Peer competed in the Dubai Championships last month.

Tamim said dual passport holders with Israeli nationality would face extra security procedures in future and predicted the alleged hit team would have problems traveling outside Israel.

"In the future, those we suspect of carrying dual nationality [including Israeli] will be treated very carefully," he said. "If Israel and Mossad mistreated Europeans, we will not... Our treatment of Europeans will not be affected."

People with the same names as many of the suspects live in Israel and say their identities were stolen. The passport abuse has drawn criticism from the European Union, and some of the governments involved have summoned the Israeli ambassadors to their countries to protest.

Dubai police said on Sunday the killers drugged Mabhouh with a muscle relaxant before suffocating him.

Iran: Probe Western countries for Dubai hit passport fraud

Iran's foreign minister on Monday challenged Western countries whose passports were used by Mabhouh's assassins to answer questions about whether they were involved in the crime.

Manouchehr Mottaki told the UN Human Rights Council that Britain, France, Germany, Australia, Austria and Ireland should answer questions about the role their security services or intelligence may have played in the killing of Mahmoud al-Mabhouh.

Mottaki has in the past accused Western nations of fomenting terror under the guise of protecting human rights.

Meanwhile, Australian investigators are expected in Israel in the coming days to question several dual nationals whose names have been connected to the assassination of Hamas commander Mahmoud al-Mabhouh in Dubai last month.

Israel agreed to allow two to three Australian police officers to question the dual citizens, after Australia's Foreign Ministry on Sunday requested approval from the Israeli envoy in Canberra to dispatch the investigators.

Australia last week said it was not satisfied with the Israeli envoy's explanation about the use of fraudulent Australian passports in the killing, after three people holding Australian passports were listed among 15 new suspects.

Media reports last week said that Australian authorities had approached Israel in the 1990s to seek assurances that its passports would not be used in Mossad activities after it was feared Israel had doctored New Zealand passports.

During that meeting, the reports claimed, the Israelis said they condoned such identity theft, with Australian participants describing their response as "enraged self-righteousness."

On Saturday, investigators from Britain's Serious Organized Crimes Agency arrived in Israel to interview dual nationals whose names were used on British forged passports tied to the killing.

'Two suspected Dubai assassins traveled to the U.S. after the hit'

At least two of the 26 suspected members of the team that tracked and killed Mabhouh in Dubai last month traveled to the U.S. shortly after his death, the Wall Street Journal reported on Monday.

Records show one of the suspects entered the U.S. on January 21 using an Irish passport and another arrived in the U.S. February 14 using a British passport, reported the Wall Street Journal, quoting "a person familiar with the situation."

Investigators are uncertain whether the two are still in the U.S. Police suspect the alleged hit squad members used fraudulently issued passports, and that the two may have left the U.S. using different travel documents.

Spokesmen for the U.S. State Department and Interpol both declined to comment on the Wall Street Journal report.

Jesus that was a long post, you might wish to learn the various benefits of using paragraphs (or is that smugly done on purpose?). BTW Iraq is not a "state" it's actually a country. Honestly, dude it doesn't work, you can copy and paste an Arab dude who after much soul searching finds he loves Israel and decides to rant negatively about Islam a second later... these copy and paste jobs are becoming quite common these days.. Do you actually think you are fooling anybody at all Mr Zionist??

The discussion of who committed the worst and most atrocities is about as an irrelevant and worthless subject as I can think of. I mentioned the Stern Gang only in response to your sarcastic, feigning implication to Ronen that you didnt know who the Stern Gang was. Now you know. You threaten, "dont get me started," re CIA spying on Israel and, "you aint seen nothing yet," re atrocities. Don't get started. You know nothing about the world of espionage, and I possess a document over 2,000 words listing Jewish attacks and massacres of Palestinians. Its a waste of time, but don't go on about Arab killings of Jews. You should worry, though, about your possible inability to apply moral judgement to acts like atomic bombing of Japan to end WWII, and Stern Gang killings of Arabs to facilitate taking their land.

To help you understand the unreliability, even falsity, of info you read about CIA and Mossad, your claim of CIA paying American officers (presumably military) to spy on Israel is an excellent example. Military officers in any country are interested in tactical information, which they note and report to the superiors. That is all they have access to: personality data on host country officers, weight capacity of bridges, sources of water and such things that armies care about in the field. None of that is of the slightest interest to CIA. CIA collects strategic intelligence. If the US were to break the agreement (that Israel violates) and turn CIA loose against Israel, CIA would target on Mossad and Shin Bet to recruit penetrations agents. It would target the staff of the Prime Ministers office, military officers with access to Israeli long range planning, officers in the MFA, and definitely Israeli diplomats around the world. In one year, Israel would be shot full of CIA agents.

Thought you might enjoy these memories of the Stern gang. November 6, 1944. The Stern Gang, assassinated the British Minister Resident in the Middle East, Lord Moyne, in Cairo. September 3, 1947. A box addressed to the British War Office exploded in the sorting room in London, injuring 2 persons. It was attributed to Irgun or Stern Gangs. (The Sunday Times, Sept. 24, 1972, p.8) March 3, 1948. A 400 lb bomb damaged an Arab-owned building in Haifa and killed 11 Arabs, 3 Armenians and injured 23. The Stern Gang claimed responsibility. March 22, 1948. A housing block in Haifa was blown up by the Stern gang killing 17 and injuring 100 others. April 9, 1948. A combined force of Irgun Zvai Leumi and the Stern Gang, captured the Arab village of Deir Yassin and killed more than 200 unarmed civilians, including women and children. Older men and young women were captured and paraded in chains in the Jewish Quarter of Jerusalem; 20 of the hostages were then shot in the quarry of Gevaat Sha

Please don't believe some expose in moment, whatever that is. CIA would have no interest in paying American military officers to collect intelligence. They do that as part of their job and report to the Defense Dep't., not CIA. Defense Dep't, would have no part of that. Iranians got no classified info from Embassy takeover in 1979, it was all shredded. The CIA station chief was not captured in the takeover. If there were documents about Mossad, they would not be in the Tehran station. No SR 71 was ever lost anywhere. You can find that out yourself. Why write if you haven't done that? Neither you, nor anyone else not holding a KH11 clearance would know what targets KH11 collected against. The clearance for access to KH11 production is only selectively allocated even within CIA. I have never known of KH11 collection against allied countries. Why would there be? Its a waste of film. I don't wish to get you started, if you are going to repeat this type of hearsay and gossip mongering.

Whatever you career path, CPA, bank manager, salesman, stick to it. Not being in the business, you are unable to discern reliable information from hearsay and gossip. Writers about CIA and the world of espionage, have no access to classified information, thus their info is never, rpt never, reliable, unless CIA wants something to become public. In your case, you are terribly confused. Hanssen did not state anything about Israel and the Soviets. He knew nothing of such things. He was not the most damaging spy in US history: that was the Rosenbergs, or John A. Walker Jr. Hanssen did not compromise CIA recruitments in the KGB, he wouldnt know that info. Aldrich Ames, who worked in the CI staff of the Soviet Division of the Clandestine Service gave away identities of 10 CIA penetration agents in the KGB: all were executed. CIA director, Bill Casey, said Pollard passed Mossad US war plans against the USSR, and the Israelis sold them to the USSR for more exit visas for Soviet Jews.

The Pollard info selling to the soviets is a bald face lie & The FBI traitor HANSEN, you remember him? is the one with that disinformation. yeah the BIGGEST & most DAMAGING spy case in USA history, used Pollard as an excuse instead it was him who sold out the CIA & others to their deaths. There was an expose in moment magazine about some American officers who were paid very well to spy on israel & were quietly kicked out from the late 1970's & early 1980's. Lets not forget the Iranians getting classified documents about the Mossad from the CIA station chief in Tehran as the embassy was overrun. The SR 71 blackbird was nearly shot down by Israeli phantoms during the 73 war flying over Dimona. I know about that one too. KH 11 & other sattalites taking license plate readable plus photos of every sensitive military installation without permission. Do not get me started.

You obviously know that I have no interest in your views of my CIA background. I served 25 years as an operations officer in the Clandestine Service. Six of those years in Middle East operations. I am comfortable writing that because these postings do no reveal my true name nor place of residence. More about Mossad: according to the FBI and the Dept of Justice, Israel is the 2nd most aggressive nation running espionage operations in the US. China is first. Mossad pitched (tried to recruit) the US DCM (Deputy Chief of Mission) in Tel Aviv, and when he rejected the pitch they kicked him out of the country. They repeatedly broke into the homes of CIA officers in Tel Aviv. That ceased when one of the entry teams was caught. They have passed info from Pollard to the Soviets. We do not run operations against Israel. US, Great Britain, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Israel have an agreement not to conduct intelligence operations against each other. Only Israel violates it

You just lost all credibility by claiming to be a CIA officer. Actually you were full of beans prior to this but give you the benefit of the doubt. You personally have no real expertise of the Mossad any more than i do.To even claim again they are not players in the field is a fantasy in your mind without any proof backing this up. Im waiting with baited breath. As for me being another Pollard, do not worry. I have no capacity to churn up classified info that will harm this nation in any way shape or form. Nor would i if i could. The fact that he still rots in prison to this day does tell me hit has something against our govt that will prove to be very embarrassing & dishonest about our intentions toward Israel. This is a 2 way street & Americans have spied against Israel already before Pollard. You already know that now dont ya?

The professionals I quote were, admittedly limited: officers of the BND, MI-6 and SDECE, and my own meetings with Mossad as a CIA officer. Nice guys, polite, well-educated, didn't speak the language of the country we were in, and seemed to be seriously uninformed about local political players behind the scenes. To laugh at the designation "second rate," is understandable for someone looking at the business from the outside. Mossad has conducted some professional operations, mostly against the US target, but you have no perspective to compare them with the major intelligence services in the world. They are not effective against Islamic terrorist organizations. CIA doesn't consider Mossad a player in that field. But, don't ever dream of becoming another Pollard: Mossad isn't professional enough to ensure you won't eventually end up in prison.

My, "it is clear Mossad did it," was written with tongue in cheek. There is no smoking Mossad gun for Dubai hit. The post was designed to point out that Jews think Mossad did it, because they all write either: no proof about Mossad, or they attack Dubai. As mentioned, not one criticism of assassins (because they think it was Mossad.) The only serious comment was that Mossad is overrated. You said it is the opposite, but you know nothing about Mossad. Most intelligence professionals consider Mossad, small, under-financed (compared to major power services) and second rate. After Iraq invasion, US Senate Intel committee, and the Knesset, stated most of the intel Mossad had passed to US was false. CIA statement was "Israeli intel assistance is sometimes of dubious value, and at lack of quality was appalling." "Mossad doesn't know its Arab enemies."... "Arab political intel is lousy, laughably bad...it was gossip stuff mostly." "... They often pass faulty, misleading intel."

Innocent until proven guilty. You say it is "CLEAR" the Mossad did it. You & other detracters have a long way to go to prove it. It took these clowns over a week to figure out how this guy died. They aso said some agents fled to Iran & about 30 people in all are involved. So no arrests except some 2 or 3 palestinians! no Jews arrested. & just about no European nation "involved" will do anything anyway. They even said so. Who is the CIA spokesman who said the Mossad is overated? It is the opposite pal. 911 was proof positve that the CIA was asleep at the wheel among other screwups. This is a false flag operation & my main suspect is Iran. They needed to embarress the Mossad due to their penetration of its nuke program and occasional sabatage murder of its personal involved.

It has become clear that Mossad carried out the hit in Dubai, for two reasons. Every Jew who has written about this (1) either insists there is no proof Mossad was involved or (2) attacks Dubai: Dubai harbored the terrorist; Dubai police are clowns; they are Arabs , what do you expect; Dubai wants the publicity; etc., etc, ad nauseam. Not one rpt not one, attacks those who violated the sovereignty of friendly nations by stealing or forging their passports, violated the sovereignty of the UAE and its criminal laws by murdering someone on its soil. Not one criticism. There are several pertinent facts all should know. 1. Mossad is overrated. e.g. "CIA spokesman said Mossad intel on Arab targets is lousy, laughable, mostly hearsay," 2. 30 people could be needed: mobile surveillance from the airport, stake outs in several hotels, etc. 3. Several credit cards used linked to the company Payoneer. The company is owned by former IDF special ops member, backed financially by an Israeli company.

To be frank I have to say that I am an atheist moslem but after 2003 the sunni , shiite etc has become to be recognized as a nationality rather than mere faith, its like saying israelis are Jews whereas Judaism a faith is regarded as a nationality, because the appropriate term would be the Hebrews. you ungrateful Palestinians are a menace and that is why when you live among other middle easterners they can see your psychological deficiencies are clearly evident when saddam brought your loser people into Iraq and handed you an entire neighborhood in Haifa street Baghdad and paid you more than his own people what did you do you betrayed our courtesy, in lebanon you did the same when Iraq was isolated by the international community the arab world turned on us first I dont see why Iraqi ever got involved with any war against Israel and we owe the Israelis an apology because obviously the Israelis are not the enemy but the arabs are our enemy and Israel's nuclear program is not erected to attack anyone and let's be honest if they wanted to attack anyone they can take Jordan in less than 2 hours, but its merely self defense, we attack them and they keep silent but they can only be silent for a while, and they need to show us that we should back off or else. Thats a fact and we must admit our own mistakes before we criticize others, I was born in 1980 and Israel was there and Iraq does not have any border disputes with Israel, there are many Israeli citizens of Iraqi descent whom we drove away in a nasty and cruel manner and the ones that remained here either converted to Islam like my grandparents did so that they could keep their properties and business without being harassed or they fled to Europe. and Israel has the right to exist you tell me and bring me on word in the Koran that says the people of Palestine????? it always mentions BENI ISRAEL the people of Israel and that land is the land of the Hebrews, and If I were a palestinian i would not mind being a citizen of Israel and enjoy the benefits of a modern civilized society and gain my rights by means of communication and mutual interests and not by bloodshed and murdering people, you would have one state called Israel where Hebrew and Arabic become the official languages and you enjoy the same benefits and lets be honest 90% of Israelis are atheist Jews anyway and they dont care how and wether you pray or not and Israelis , Jews are no one's enemy we only demonize them as such because we are jealous and envious of them, because they achieved alot the past 62 years and we still live in the dark ages. and yes in Iraq today sunni is identified as a nationality, come and see for yourself all the separation walls and if I were to walk into a shiite neighborhood I would most likely get shot for being sunni and having a non shiite name and they can tell by your looks no one will as if I practice the religion or not they dont even care if I dont pray and if I am a sunni by name only the title itself is enough for them. all I am saying and promoting is a three state solution in my country because we have proven to ourselves that we cannot live together so end it peacefully why kill people I dont want violence nor bloodshed and all I want is that they leave us alone and our culture differs from the shiite culture and I cant accept anyone imposing their beliefs and lifestyles on me, why should I deal with their beliefs and make those traditions part of my life when I am used to live differently why should I stop drinking alcohol or wear shorts when its 60 degrees and why should my sister not life a free modern life and wear what she likes even if this doesnt conform to shiite culture.

so a few Mossad agents are became 11 and now 26 and now within a has reached into 30, this clearly is the Mossad Brady Bunch operation and for what? some loser like Mabhouh? this is funny Israelis would never ever and they never have carried out such an absurd assassination this is silly and the more I read about it the sillier this whole fiasco is beginning to unfold in hilarious ways. and now these perpetrators fled to Iran BINGO now you know that good old Mahmood Nejad is behind it, no wonder, I didn't want to say this before but the whole plot can only relate to amateurs and morons like the Iranians who kill people and they even have grudges against statues in Baghdad thats why they blew them up, oh well

What a dumb comment. al Mabhouh traveled and entered Dubai on a false passport. If you wish to use that criterion, then Dubai also harbored the assassins by letting them enter the country on false passports. If Dubai pretends to be part of the civilized world by allowing al Habhouh to enter their country on a false passport, what part of the world are the assassins pretending to be?

General Rabin was murdered by a Likudnik for trying to make peace with Palestine. The photoshoped pictures of General Rabin in a Nazi SS Uniform were the essential part of the Likud campaign. What was Israel's response to the murder of Rabin? It elected Likud, the party which murdered Rabin, to power. And since the extreme right has ruled in Israel, the nation which rewarded the murder of General Rabin with control. . . Ok, so we don't get anything wrong, let us test this hypothesis. Was Amir a follower of Labor or Likud? And what party has won not only the following election, but most since? Israelis have forgotten not only what General Rabin did, and stood for. . . They have forgotten what they have done. Amir was a 'throwaway' a discard, on the road to Likud Rule. Which it does.

A very interesting article. The reporter seems to know more about the crime going on in Dubai than the police chief does; perhaps it's because the chief is chasing chimeras while the real criminals thrive under his nose. "To many, Jain is the latest, perhaps the biggest, example that proves the United Arab Emirates is not so much awash with vast oil wealth but built on a toxic tide of illicit cash: a place where Russian mafia and drug cartels clean their dirty cash and al‑Qaida finances terror atrocities. And at its heart is Dubai, a world financial centre that in the past 15 years has grown exponentially."

Long ago, Israel cared what the world thought
    • Mark Lincoln
    • 02.03.10
    • 06:04

Long ago, forty years or more ago, Israel thought what the world though mattered. Now Israel holds the entire world in contempt and thinks that what the world thinks of Israel s contemptible. A half-century ago, and more, Israel wanted to be accepted by the world as a competent, decent and accepted member of the United Nations. Now Israel wants to tell the world to fugg off, go to Hell, and screw you. To us ancients of the world, who remember the past, this is an astounding change in position. A refutation of what Israel sought with such diligence and dedication in the 1950s and 1960s. Even into the 1970s. But that attitude, the one that wanted to have Israel accepted as a decent nation in a world of decent nations has vanished in Israel. Perhaps it's last existence was the Peace Treaty signed with Egypt. Most certainly it was with the Peace Treaty signed with Jordan. Certainly it ended when a Likudnik assassinated General Rabin for trying toertain make peace with Palestine.

I guess it is possible. Dubai forged dozens of foreign passports, recruited British, Irish, French, German, Australian and Israeli people to pull off a whack in Dubai, and then accuses Israel? What have you folks been smoking? And can I have some? It must be pretty good dope because most of you are totally out of touch with reality. The Netanyahu Government has assured Israelis that there was no consequences from it's actions. The actions it assure there were no consequences from it has not denied. There have been consequences. Dubai wants to slam the formerly open door to Israelis shut. England and Australia are engaged in criminal investigations. Other criminal investigations are coming. . . But, the Netanyahu government is adamant. There are no consequences arising from it's actions. Were Benjamin Netanyau and and Avigdor Lieberman 18 years old I would understand that their unformed and childish minds had led them to commit rash and irrational acts without any thought . .

It's not only Dubai... Lebanese officials will screen all tourist entering Beirut airport who posses Jewish names. This was the recommendation from Nasrallah yesterday. And the Lebanese Internal Security have said they'll implement that directive. Never mind, that Nasrallah isn't an elected official or hasn't received one Lebanese vote. The issue here is... can an Islamic religious figure impose racism and profiling, simply because he suspects a Mossad operation. I wonder what the Islamic community would think... if the EU or the US would screen every Muslim women wearing a hijab or deny entry to any Islamic sounding name, in the guise of preventing terrorism.

Peace Plan: The US should appoint Slowman as peace mediator
    • Dr. Getzel Hyde
    • 02.03.10
    • 02:01

There is nothing like a common enemy to unite two sides. Ever heard the expression "The enemy of my enemy is my friend"? This is the foundation of the present peace initiative: The US appoints Slowman as peace mediator between Israel and Syria, say. The Syrians want US involvement? Give it to them this way. Over time, the two sides realize whom they are dealing with. They get annoyed to death by his sloooowness and duuuumbness, band together against him, and get rid of him in some joint operation. (Both Mossad and the Syrians are experts in this sort of thing.) There is no bonding like joint war against a common enemy. Peace will follow for sure. You want another peace deal? How about Israel and the Palestinians? Do the same thing, but you will have to go to the Himalayas to catch another Abominable Slowman. There aren't many of those left, so might become a real bottleneck. I suggest you start looking for a few Slowmen right away. Good luck, and Peace be on Israel. Inshallah. P.S. We, the Talkback contributors, are reluctantly willing to deprive ourselves of the services of a censor we grew to love to hate, but only because of the enormity of the mission. May his demise serve as our atonement. Amen.

All the comments so far have just rehashed all the standard bogus talking points, but none have noted that the poor Israelis that had their IDs stolen by Mossad are now having to be interrogated by UK and Australian police. I am sure the people that had their IDs stolen are extremely mad at their own government right about now. I wonder if the full impact of the stolen IDs has sunk in yet? They will NEVER be able to leave Israel no matter what passport they use. Their names are now in every security system around the world. They can never visit family outside Israel nor travel on pleasure nor business. If I were them I would be screaming for hundreds of millions of Shekels in compensation from the Israeli government. Not only that, but all citizens of UK and the other countries whose passports were used, will now have to endure vastly more intrusive security everywhere they travel. I am sure UK and Australian business people will also have a very low opinion of Israelis about now.

Do you remember the Eichmann seizure from Argentina -either from reading history or from newspapers of the day?He would have been executed where he lived but for Israel wanting to educate the world.Mabhouh did not need to be an object lesson -his killings were present day, ongoing and admitted.

Everyone who visited Israel will know tagging business at airport
    • mehmet
    • 02.03.10
    • 00:03

If a non-jew visits Israel, when leaving the country, at the airport they will stick a tag to your boarding card and the colour of the tag will be different for jews and gentiles. If you are an Israeli citizen but not a jew, they will tag you with the non-jewish colour as well (no apartheid huh?). Israel does not hide this and they say this is not racism. Well then, trying to detect Israelis travelling with non-israeli passports from their visual appearences, the way of clothing, any sign of hebrew letters in any belongings, accent etc should also not be racism according to this logic, why should it be ? Israel says with the tagging they have more chance to catch murderers (all nonjews are potential murderers according to this logic) then okay, then Dubai on whose soil a murder was comitted by Mossad should also have the right to utilize similar means for identification is not it ? What makes it so horrible ?

This story just won`t go away... Of course it won`t, with Dubai effots being the most prolific, bordering on any extreme overkill imaginable. Dubai police won`t rest for quite some time and this is not the last of the new implementations targeting Israel, considering that Dubai came out the most embarrased in this affair. UAE is considered one of the most moderate Arab states advocating the region's peace. Yet it was undeniably confirmed the rumor of being the easily accesable baazar for radical Islam,`businessmen`. Yes, like most they do not have any high level ties with Israel, but the liaison between Iranian weapons to Hamas on the moderate Arab soil? And liaison is not some unknown smock but the high ranking Hamas man. Even if he had entered under false udentity, this either should indicate inneptness of Dubai secret service or the fact Dubai is `closing their eyes` on such liaisons. Take your pick, nevertheless in either case it is an embarrasement to Dubai.

Can the English like Chris Linthwaite really be classified as anti-semites? I would say he is in the category of Jewbaiter, the same category that his compatriot Clickfool (RIP) was classified in. I'm not sure if they really hate Jews; what they really seem to enjoy is just having fun at the Jews' expense by hurling false accusations and blood-libels, and then when they are found out, they just say, "Oh, just having a lark, mate." It's a bit like the online version of a small goyboy pulling an old Jew's beard. Can that be classified as a form of anti-semitism or is it just youthful pranks? "No apology is necessary until Israel is exhonerated. Until then I`ll keep on having fun at israel`s expense."

    Potential problems in the US
    • Logios
    • 01.03.10
    • 21:54

Let me first point out that none of the forged passports was a US passport. Indeed, according to Victor Ostrovsky's book about the Mossad (in which he served with a rank of Colonel), Mossad is extremely careful about any action that might cause a problem with Israel best friend and protector. In the Dubai case, it may be that two Mossad operatives entered the US with a forged passport. The Department of Homeland Security is responsible for allowing entry and they are no doubt investigating, at least in order to prevent repeat occurrences. If they do find something, they will not be quiet. National security is too important now in the US. The other issue is credit cards used in Dubai, some of which were American, and issued under forged ID. The offenders might be possible to track. Perhaps somebody will have the good sense of paying in cash rather than skipping town.

Every country complaining about the forged passports have their intelligence people doing the same.Think the CIA,Brit,Aussie,Irish intelligent agencies don't do the same? James Bond used forged passports in every movie. Whats really funny is that some of you are more concerned with forged passports than the Iranian nuclear program.A man who murdered innocent people of many nationalities is gone and all that some of you can do is whine about the horrible Israelis. And every country whining about the passports also is secretly praying that Israel will take out Iranian nukes. And that includes Dubai.

'Media reports last week said that Australian authorities had approached Israel in the 1990s to seek assurances that its passports would not be used in Mossad activities after it was feared Israel had doctored New Zealand passports. During that meeting, the reports claimed, the Israelis said they condoned such identity theft, with Australian participants describing their response as "enraged self-righteousness." ' It's amazing. This is NOT what your source says. I already tried to point this out to you once. Here, I'll tell you again -- although why, I don't know. The cited source was 'The Australian.' According to 'The Australian,' it was the Australians who 'condemned' (not 'condoned') identity theft and New Zealanders off-stage who suffered from 'enraged self-righteousness.' The Israeli reaction wasn't mentioned at all.

If Arabs only behave rationaly and honestly by being firm and tenacious, Peace would have prevailed, Israel and its Western backers would have enched into durable peace based on restoring Palestinian rights. By accomodating Israel and obeying the West, arrogance is the norm in Israeli behavior. It is not unconceivable that some Arab regimes collapse, Western coalition disperse and leave Muslim and arab lands. If that ever happens then the days of Israel with or without atomic deterence would be short as Iran says. Dubai would retract, Arab regimes cannot live without the benedication of the West, supporter of Israel

Hamas admits that they target civilians, and pass out sweet candy when they are successful. Of course you criticize this behavior. And of course you criticize the naming of streets in order to honor Freedom Fighters who killed and maimed babies-extra nails added in the bombs to ensure carnage. Of course you condemn this. Again-assuming Israel behaves like a normal country=should there be a Jewish country called Israel-negotiated pre 1967 borders-next to Arab, independant Palestine?

"identity theft, forged passports is standard practice to every intel agency worldwide." Incriminating their own fellows? (if it was Mossad, they've implicated innocent Jewish folk) Very likely of course that other countries also use fake ID's and Passports. However, a state can just issue real passports with any ID they cared to dream up for their operatives, EXCEPT if that country's Passports aren't really welcome or they'd be suspect in the country they're gonna operate in.

Apparently they could not bring the machine to the birthday boy - a lot of people would come bothering with advice- and the boy was left to die due to inability to breath. ppps. It is Dubai jester suggested succinylcholine - not I - I used the bag- no particles.

Strange that Dubai doesn't have a problem with Islamic terrorists, hell bent on facilitating a monumental streak of deaths in Israel, doing their activities within Dubai. the reaction is catalyzed by microsomal (and non-microsomal) enzymes. Quite different from the enzymes released when one suffocates, which are different again from a panic attack or fear or heart attack (one of the first checks now a days for suspected heart attack is an enzyme test) If the enzymes released by suffocation are present in the blood, suffocation would most likely have been the cause of death. If the enzymes for fear are in the blood, then the victim must have been conscious. If the enzymes for an adrenaline rush are in the blood, it could indicate a struggle. Perhaps prior to the administering of the drug. If there were no enzymes released though suffocation, then one could reach the conclusion that death was caused by the drug itself. (failing other circumstances)

Plus he is responsible for the deaths of many others through his arms dealings. Plus he was on a mission to kill yet more - again, through further arms dealings. He evaded the long arm of justice far too long. Bravo to the Mossad for making him reap what he sowed and preventing him from further injustice since no one else would have brought him to justice, least of all Dubai. Justice is served. Justice! But some party used the identities of innocent dual nationals. 1. Put these persons at risk 2. Abused diplomatic documents issued by several countries to their citizens. The fact that Israel is not outraged that this happened to their dual nationals implicates the country. The fact that many feel that any means may be used against terrorists indicates that Israel cannot be trusted.

As far as all those forged passports, most if not all of them had nothing to do with Mahmoud, and by now all those involved are long gone, they now have new identities and new faces, they probably landed in countries of destinations under new identities. Also, Dubai is known as a destination of many illegal or clandestine activities and every day people arrive with false passports and leave the same, there are probably 20 t0 30 people daily arriving in this way daily, same as Lichtenshtine in Europe. Hope the chief of police learns his job or bring in an expert, unless someone is paying him to blame mossad and not look at other possibilities.

    • 15:48

I personally believe that one reason that you show manners is to show others that your mother wasn't a wolf, that she was a good woman who taught you well, not like Romulus and Remus who despite the end, hit a nasty snag on the way. Well perhaps Tamim's mother didn't teach him everything or perhaps he dosed off and missed this lesson, But Respect is a two way street, If you go around and insult another nation, condemn them for an action that you have NO EVIDENCE OF, then begin the personal insults and begging of others to " Be A MAN" etc..., well what you are going to find most likely is a very cold shoulder and yes you might feel insulted after that, but the question is did you deserve he insult. So Tamim, perhaps Israel will apologize if you could prove it was them. Perhaps Israel would have apologized, if it was them had you not accused them first. Either way, you sir, are not the one to be discussing respect, manners, or feelings of insult, rewind start again.

I am glad to be of help. I am extremely proud to be a positive influence to the youth of Israel. Now would you like to tell me why Israel should be allowed to fraudenently use british passports? And what makes Israel so special that they can completely disregard International Law? But thankyou for your kind words of encouragement, it means a lot to me.

I'm sorry, how dare I forget that the issue here is international trespassing, instead of saving millions of Israeli lives from having rockets land on their roofs for no reason? You make me laugh when you try to twist this matter as somehow being an offense to someone's sovereignty, when the reality is that Israel does what it does BECAUSE no arab country even RECKOGNIZES it's sovereignty... Dubai acts as the banking system and middle man for enabling Israel's enemies to plot terror attacks and continue an agenda obsessed with killing as many Jews as possible. All in the hopes this would somehow make every jew say "ok they win, let's pack our bags and leave what we thought was our country". Sure... This was totally about trespassing. Because U.S. military is trespassing on the caves in Afganistan looking for Osama bin Laden. We should hold tribunals against the CIA too... Moron..

YOU answer: - show valid proof that there was a murder. the b.s. published yesterday you can keep for yourself. - where did mahbouh have his faked passport from ? - explain "the role [hamas/irans] security services or intelligence may have played" on the illegal arms trades in dubai ? YOU have to answer first. we can assume, that there had not been a murder (if there was one), when the guy had not been an arms smuggler.

When is it too late to wake up?? Israeli youth live in a bubble as to the dangers of the "anti whatever it is you are" and your like outside of Israel. People like you enable us to show what we are up against before it will be too late. oh happy days...enjoy them now Chris . Thanks for helping us wake up the left wing kids here to the dangers people like you hold to us.Those like u whose hatred holds no bounds and is not a result of anything but that hatred itself. Those whose critisism is formed not of critical capacity but of blinkered ideology and prejudice. Those who demonize us simply because we exist, and for lesser crimes than those they support. Those people who strive to destroy, who have no positive political agenda but who hijack a cause to infuse it with evil. You embody all of these things Chris and serve as an example. For that at least you serve a purpose...and if you are enjoying yourself then once again it goes to show who you are and what you stand for.

in some sense you are right. few care who the terrorist was that was killed. that, however is at the crux of the problem. as long as terrorists are allowed to come and go as they please, their enemies, of whom there are many, will have no choice but to follow them to wherever they go. al-mubhuh was a hamas terrorist, and a member of hamas, a listed terror organisation. dubai would not dream of allowing ben laden to enter the city and register in a luxory hotel.

Probably few care very much about the man who was killed, but a great many care about Israel's idea that the rules of international law don't apply to it, and that it can ignore every other state's sovereignty whenever it chooses.

there is an ever increasing number of "suspects." how many mor "suspects" will dubai produce? what did they do, these suspects? all 27 of them could not have been needed for one kill. then there is the rather bizarre claim of murder by general anasthetic succynilcholine, followed by suffocation. first, how could the anethetic be injected. was al-mahbuh sitting quietly letting a bunch of people inject him? second, why injecting if the mode of death was suffocation? could not the killers come up with a one step murder? why make everything so complicated when murder can be so simple. the murder described here comes straight out of a crime novel. anyone could do it. no one would need 27 people for something so simple.

and it is terribly entertaining. Just fired off another e-mail to my MP as have several hundred others making sure in the run up to an election we will take a dim view if the misuse of British Passports is quietly dropped. The Prime Minister is asked by reporters at every opportunity how the investigation is going. And David Milliband has gone to ground to the background noise that his religion may be getting in the way of his role as Foreign Secretary in this matter. Happy Days not only is Israel, but the Jewish lobby is on the run. We even voted for the Goldstone report last week.

So Mossad purposely cocks up a hit with a shed load of operatives it wants to get rid of anyway. This way all the police forces of the world converge on Israel, hopefully with their families, thereby boosting tourism. They figure all the nasty press that Israel is getting now will be outweighed by the unintentional viral marketing campaigns of the clueless tourists. That's of course as long as shin bet doesn't shoot of them. That's the real story. you can read it here: Http://stopsmokingcrackyouknowthisisanisraelymess.com

Hoping that in some magical fictitious world, Interpol and a few Aussie investigators are going to "crack the code" and find any of the people who did this. All that is going on is ( A) Interpole is honoring Dubai's requests just to get them off their backs, knowing full well a Terrorist was killed, so who cares about really finding who killed a Terrorist. And (B), Aussie investigators want to know where the real individuals were which might have leaked their Passport data to be cloned. At the end of this fantasy train, still waits the final destination of no one really giving a crap who actually killed this cock roach. Dubai Police is going to have to go back to investigating Russian Prostitutes being imported to Dubai for the fat Sheiks who purchase trafficked women with dollars coming from American oil profits. Oops, Dubai doesn't care about organized crime so long as they're bribed to look the other way. But don't you dare go killing a weapons smuggler, then you're in trouble
