Israeli Seriously Wounded by Palestinian Stone Throwers in West Bank

Woman seriously hurt in incident, her partner lightly wounded; IDF troops searching area where attack occured.

An Israeli woman was seriously wounded on Friday when Palestinians hurled rocks at her car in the northern West Bank.

The woman's partner, who was lightly hurt in the incident, called emergency services to the scene. He then drove to Tapuah Junction, Israel Radio reported, where the couple received medical treatment.

A Magen David Adom ambulance rushed to the spot, and took them for further treatment to the Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva.

Israel Defense Forces troops subsequently searched the area of the attack.
