I personally don't agree with her light sentence, given the gravity of her actions, but I have to respect Israeli law and courts. Israel is a democracy like many western countries where courts are independent of the government and rule based on legal principles, not political expediency. This is a contrast to the Arab countries where political opponents are imprisoned solely based on their views. People like her should be proud to be Israeli and given the legal protections afforded to all of its citizens, Jews, Arabs, Druze and those who don't agree with the government - that's what a true democracy is.
