Days before the election, thousands of campaign posters and flyers from previous elections were uploaded to the National Library's website. Browsing through them reveals a bit about the changes that have occurred over the 19 election campaigns held since 1949. But what the election materials really show is what hasn't changed: the issues on the agenda and the contempt between political rivals.
