Unless of course the ancient Jebusites suddenly start showing up and claiming the area but since that is very unlikely at this time then you should be giving your blessing for the most part to the current situation of Israeli dominance in the land and Jerusalem reborn as its beloved capital.

You come to an Israeli news source daily and still don't hear and accept what her enemies are saying? You are promising true peace to Israel if only she "ends the occupation and negotiates final and legitimate borders"? What you still can't get through your thick skull is that even the original, humble mound of Tel Aviv's beginnings is too large a Jewish State to exist in the confiscated heartland of Islam, according to the militant Islamists, that's why they rejected peace with nascent Israel back in 1948 and boisterously proclaimed a war of extermination of the Jews there on the order of the bloody Crusades. Where were you or people like you to then go and admonish the militant Palestinians and their neighboring army supporters that they were still taking too big a military gamble even though they outnumbered the Jews with both fighters and weapons and an all-out victory and covetous confiscation of all the land appeared just days away it seemed? You would have had your kneecaps shot out for standing in their way so don't now come with foolish statements of ending the occupation when the militant Muslim mindset is still fixed sixty five years later on ending the existence of the State of Israel.

The one state solution is not a viable solution, where would the Jewish State end up? And should the Arab citizens accept to be B-citizens? The only solution is two states, with the 1967 borders and land-swabs. Period.

And Israel won't accept a Palestinian State in the West Bank with an international airport and unchecked borders without full Israeli oversight primarily because of the absence of even the semblance of the internal jihad necessary to correct the historical and spiritual propaganda, the incitement to murder and mayhem, the nurturing of their youth to become martyrs, to commit acts of war against the Jewish State, etc.

Now draw your own conclusion! You wouldn't have encouraged the Palestinians back in 1947-48 to accept a State, not when it looked so easy and so wonderful to have it all. Now you supposedly care? The Land of Israel when out of the hands of the Jews due to world-power Roman persecution and dispersion into the diaspora remained a backwater of conquering empires because no one but the Jews had a vision for the land. When they returned they dusted off Jerusalem and made it their capital once again, the City of ancient international renown was not to remain mourning in sackcloth and ashes or to play third fiddle to Mecca and Medina. It is the City of the Great King and you haven't seen nothing yet!

I have been a supporter of the Palestinians for many years. I have always wanted them to have their own state. It doesn't matter if the Jews have a vision for the land, Lavi. They are stealing land which belongs to the Palestinians for their vision. This is morally and legally wrong. But who is the Great King you mention?

If you are referring to the 48 conflict you are very much mistaken to describe the Palestinians (or Arab world in general) as possessing superior numbers of fighters or weaponry. It was the Jews who possessed well trained and armed militas - not the other side. As for maintaining the occupation indefinitely - well Israel can try and attempt to justify its military domination of non-Jews on a mythical past but it is ultimately unsustainable. Levy understands this.

What you are saying is you want to impose your religious beliefs on another which is unlawful under International Law. What you are saying is you want to take someone elses land yet would not allow someone else to do the same to you. Israel has its declared and Internationally recognised borders as per the Partition Plan. It agreed to those. It is not entitled to Palestinian Territory.

Have you? Have you ever talked to a Palestinian in a humane way..I don't mean pointing a gun & shouting or humiliating but sitting down and talking respectfully.
