There is no real 'left bloc". Even Meretz and Labor favour demographic supremacy and no real change to a really fair, peaceful and just solution to the Israel/Palestine situation. Only complete civic and social equality for ALL of its citizens,a just solution the refugees, and a withdrawal from all occupied territories and adherence to international law will bring real peace. Which of the political parties, except for the Arab and mixed MKs proposed all that?

The new coalition government must take steps to limit the birth rate of the Arab and Haredi sctors, preferably by limitig child allowances to the first three children, by drafting both Haredim and Arabs, (3 less children per family), by endinbg monthly allowances to yeshiva students and by charging them tuition.

I support Meretz. But I have to say that your headline is beguiling. The right bloc does comprise 60 delegates, But the left bloc in has (according to your math) a confirmed 27 delegates. Yair Lapid's party which is as centrist as it is left ,has 19. How many of those delegates consider themselves truly "left" .The Arab parties are not necessarily "left". And Kadima - well ... it depends which way the wind is blowing.

the center-right got 50 seats. lapid got that many votes because he made it clear that he was not on the left. there is no way he will be joining meretz and arabs to form a the absurd left coalition.
