Tzipi Livni, chairwoman of the Hatnuah party, said in retrospect it is possible that handing over Israel's natural resources to private hands was a mistake. Livni led the privatization process of Israel Chemicals and the Dead Sea Works when she headed the Government Companies Authority before being elected to the Knesset.
