Arab League calls on Israeli Arabs to vote in upcoming election

This series of laws that will be inimical to the country’s Arab citizens will pass, regadless if Israeli Arabs or Israelis themselves will vote against Netanyahu. Israel is not a democracy. Israel is ruled by the far right religious parties, alkways has and from what we can see today, always will, at least for now and the near future. Until those Israelis who truly want peace and truly regard the Palestinian people as equals, win an election, nothing will change until then.

Many of my friends don't vote because the last thing we want is for Arab parties to succeed in destroying Israel. Very few will admit to it, but we all don't want to live like people live in Lebanon, Syria, Jordan or Egypt.

There is no democracy in Israel. Israel has rewritten proportional representation by allowing extremism to be the modus operandi of a country that wants to be Jewish and Jewish only without any rights for others. This is pure racism and is lacking in a country which claims to be civilized.

The International Community is in no mood for more of the same from rightists in Israel or Netanyahu. Israel has run out of track and this year Israel will face major confrontation over the Occupation and Settlements. The International Community is determined to see the Conflict resolved and the Palestinians to have their State.
