Israeli Arabs accuse Israel of 'ethnic cleansing' in Jerusalem

is what the governments of Egypt, Syria, Morocco, Iraq and Jordan did to their Jewish populations in the immediate aftermath - and the following decades - of the UN establishment the state of Israel.

Israel is the only country in the world (and history of mankind!)where minorities who are supposedly submitted to ethnic cleansing actually increase in number! In Israel there is no more ethnic cleasing, Apartheid, segregations, racism etc. than in any other normal democratic country in the world.

Let's see. Pals do not want Jews in Al-Aqsa even though at its base (which Arabs knowlingly built over) is a Jewish holy site of enormous signficance. Before Jews "occupied" the West Bank, they were banned from the wailing wall which was despoiled and treated as a dump. Then there is the West Bank and the Pal "no Jew" policy, which of course goes further than merley excluding Jews. Its "lets" destroy everything Jewish policy, you know, Rachel's tomb, just by way of example. Beyond that things get rather ugly in the Arab world where Jews were killed, excluded, exploited, discriminated against and made victims of state theft. Then there are the Arab villages themselves. Jews are not welcome and indeed their lives are at risk by being there. These much more serious forms of "ethnic cleansing" are not completely pervasive in the Arab world but the degree of it and its duration, -centuries, indeed millenia, is disgusting and shocking. Those yelling wolf should soap clean their mouth

As if Arabs are not buying houses in the Jewish neighborhoods of Jerusalem More then 20 buildings in the Jewish quarter of Jerusalem, have been bought by Arabs who live there, Hundreds of Arab Palestinians have settled in the past few years, in the Western part of Jerusalem, in Jewish neighborhoods! Can I call that ethnically cleansing of Jews from Jerusalem?

Ethnic cleansing? What a joke. The percentage of Arabs among Jerusalem's population has steady risen since 67'. This is one of those hysterical fanatical headline- grabbing accusations which any responsible editor should have dismissed as unprintable.

While the Arabs are whining about fanticized ethnic cleansing of their number from Jerusalem, maybe they should consider supporting the relocation of the Jewish population of Yemen, just ethnically cleansed to the US to "protect them" - to the former Yemenite community of Silwan, seized by the Trans-Jordanian army and Brits in 1948, ethnically cleansed of all Jews and usurped by Arab settlers, none of whom have actual title to the land they live on (but howl hysterically when Irving Moskowitz lawfully buys property in "their" Silwan for Jews to again live on).

You falsify terminology! Rwanda was both ethnic cleansing and genocide. Those two words does NOT mean the same! Etnich cleansing is when someone displaces a population group (not necessarilly killing) and chases them out from where they formerly were. Dispersing a mob, is hardly ethnic cleansing as you say. Of course it isn`t. What the settlers (I am NOT refering to ALL settlers, but those who actually comit these crimes) do to Palestinians however, and I am here refering to house invasions and evictions that follow, would be ethnic cleaning in theory.

between freedom of assembly and rioting, just as yelling fire in a crowded theater is not free speech. Your rights end when they start to infringe upon those of others. Disturbing the peace on the Temple Mount under the guise of "occupation" is not a right. But you get to cry "ethnic cleansing" when Israeli forces use non-lethal methods to disperse a rioting mob? why we don't hear news of Palestinian success stories? Peace, business development for their people, contributions to agriculture so they can feed their kids? I remember Israel as a "baby" learnign by itself how to become strong by focusing on their people. Palestinians always cry like little children, even though they were born in 1967.

Ethnic cleansing is the purging of an area of of a group with a specific identity. That is exactly what has been happening in East Jerusalem, as well as other areas of Israel and Palestine. Israel can call it whatever it wants. If Israel lies frequently and consistently, eventually people will believe the lie.
