Lobbyists may face new curbs after Israeli elections
Knesset Speaker Reuven Rivlin promises to tighten regulation on the work of the lobbyists at the Knesset after the election.
Knesset Speaker Reuven Rivlin (Likud) has agreed to tighten controls on the work of lobbyists when the Knesset reconvenes after this month's election. Rivlin received a proposal on the subject on Thursday that was developed by a Jerusalem think tank, and on receiving it, he promised to convene a committee following the election that would develop formal legislation on the subject.
