Likud Officials Bemoan 'Sleepy' Campaign Devised by U.S. Strategist

Senior Likud member says party hasn't reacted suitably to pressing issues such as nurses' strike or Lieberman's resignation; current poll show joint ticket winning about 38 seats.

Senior Likud officials on Monday assailed the party's campaign strategy, saying the joint ticket with Yisrael Beiteinu is devoid of messages and is "trying to put the field [activists] to sleep." They also complained that ministers and MKs have been barred from giving media interviews.
