Israel Museum Hires Celebrity Tour Guides for the Evening

Hundreds of the museum's patrons and their guests were led around the galleries by tour guides ranging from Bank of Israel Governor Stanley Fisher to British Ambassador Matthew Gould.

Bank of Israel Governor Stanley Fischer, in a jaunty purple tie, British Ambassador to Israel Matthew Gould and Rona Ramon, widow of the first Israeli astronaut Ilan Ramon, were just a few of the public figures who made their professional debuts Saturday evening as museum docents - giving tours through Jerusalem's Israel Museum as part of its annual gala.
