Ahead of cabinet approval, Israeli panel okays plan for African migrant detention facility
Council okays construction, but places three month limit on residence in tents within the facility.
The national Planning and Construction Council approved on Tuesday the building plans for the “Sadot” detention facility planned to house African migrants in the Negev. The plan will subsequently be sent to the government for approval.
