Netanyahu's cabinet backs bill to jail stone-throwers up to 10-20 years

It hardly require any intelligence to deduce that the proposed law will give immense power to police force to settle the scores with the opponents with high handedness.Any law acquires sanctity only when the offenders face punishment commensurate with the offense.If not ,such laws become the base of revolt which destabilizes the society.

And how about those settlers? How will they like going to prison for twenty years. The whole world knows it will never happen. So it's another Aparthide law and another nail in the coffin containing Israel's respect.

The Palestinian stone throwers will be jailed for 10 to 20 years and their IDF killers will be aised and rewarded. That is the justice of the occupants. This will no longer be tolerated by the non jewish world. The Jews as Gods chosen people are not beyond all international laws.

Although military censorship may not allow to publish comments anymore, but the Israei cabinet decision to allow jail sentences for stone-throwers of 10-20 years is simplky outrageous and a strong reminder of how oppressive and arrogant this Israeli government really is. No thought about the reason why an oppressed people engages at times in stone-throwing. This government does not want to have anything o do with peace and coexistence. No, any resistence to subjugation will bring even more people into prison. Is this democratic? Are these European or American values to be defended? The US and EU are guilty of complicity to injustice, occupation and dispossession. done to the Palestinian people. It is as simple as that.

10 to 20 years for stone throwers…..Of course, this would not not apply to "Jewish" stone throwers where usually the Israeli army stands idly by. As a matter of fact, murderers of Palestinians, who actually have in the past been convicted of a crime, have spent less time in jail for their crimes. So , once again, a typical example of Palestinians, regardless of what methods they use against their illegal occupiers, will be damned whether it be a rocket or a stone. Israel will not tolerate any resistance until the Palestinians are brought to their knees. .That will never happen! And so I applaud the Palestinians, a basically defenseless people, for their courage against a brutal occupier with the most sophisticated weapons used against them.

The Netanyhu government is without vision, maliciously ignoring their Arab fellow citizens.If 20 years is the measure for stone throwing then what is the needed sentence for using high tech war equipment, laser-guided bombs, storage of nuclear weapons against a defenseless people? What should the sentence be for detaining people en masse, using drones, checkpoints and oppressive administrative procedures to control people?

Will this law ever be used against ultra-ortodow jews throwing stones at cars for driving on saturdays? I guess not. This is a law only against arabs, another true apartheid law.
