State Asks Supreme Court to Reopen Corruption Case Against Olmert

Former PM was acquitted in Talansky case, but prosecution says it has new evidence from long-time bureau chief.

The Supreme Court yesterday deliberated a request by the state prosecution to reopen a corruption case against Ehud Olmert, who was sentenced last month to six years in prison for taking bribes to promote the Holyland real estate complex in Jerusalem while he was mayor of the city.
