Gun Used by Sheinbein in Prison Shoot-out Traced to Former Owner

A Tel Aviv resident offered the gun for sale on the web and later reported it stolen, investigation finds.

The pistol used by Samuel Sheinbein, the prisoner who was killed in a shootout with prison guards at Rimonim Prison earlier this week, belonged to a Tel Aviv resident who had offered it for sale on the Yad-2 online classifieds site, and later reported it stolen.
