It’s not easy to be a Yesh Atid candidate in this year’s municipal elections. The Knesset’s second-largest party has lost quite a bit of altitude in public opinion surveys since its leader, Finance Minister Yair Lapid, passed a budget full of cuts that hurt the middle class – his primary electorate.
