As Another Israeli Academic Year Begins, Achievement Gaps Divide Haves and Have-nots

As another school year starts on Tuesday, huge differences in academic achievement between the haves and have-nots - between the center of the country and outlying districts, between Arabs and Jews, and between secular and ultra-Orthodox students - remain fully in force.
