Lapid's Plan to Scrap Joint Tax Returns Expected to Cost Israel Up to NIS 1 Billion a Year

Israel Tax Authority urges finance minister to implement gradually his plan for married couples who work in the same business.

The decision by Finance Minister Yair Lapid to cancel the joint tax assessment for married couples who work in the same business, starting in January 2014, will cost the state NIS 700 million to NIS 1 billion a year, according to the Israel Tax Authority.
