Israeli Doctors' Orders: Regular Exercise for Tots, Less TV, Skip Unnecessary Tests

Israel Association of Family Physicians says children age 2 to 5 need 180 minutes a day of physical activity, while those age 5 to 19 need an hour a day of physical activity.

Children should engage in regular exercise from age 2, and children and teens should watch no more than two hours a day of television, according to new recommendations by a task force on preventive medicine.
