Israeli Arab youth more likely than Jewish counterparts to drop out of school
A Knesset report shows that despite overall improvements, Arab students continue to be exposed to more violence and drop out of school at a higher rate than their Jewish peers.
Drop-out rates and incidents of violence in Israeli schools are lower than in previous years, but persistent gaps remain between Arab and Jewish students, a report released by the Knesset Research and Information Center has found. The Knesset Education, Culture and Sports Committee will discuss the findings on Wednesday.
