Israel hands over remains of Jordanian soldier killed in 1967 war
Report: Man fought with Jordanian garrison in East Jerusalem during Six Day War.

According to the report, the hand-over took place at the Allenby Bridge crossing between Jordan and Israel, with the Jordanian army taking part in the ceremony.
Authorities did not identify the soldier, but Palestinian newspaper Al-Hayat al-Jadidah named the man as Mohammed Mahmoud from the northern Jordanian city of Al-Ramtha.
Petra added that the soldier was killed in the East Jerusalem suburb of Anata during the war, while other news agencies reported that he was injured there, and died later.
Israel captured East Jerusalem from Jordan in June 1967, where the Jordanian garrison fought. Jordan concluded a peace treaty with Israel in October 1994.
The Jordanian army was planning an official funeral procession for the soldier later this week.
