Is Angelina Jolie sponsoring Jordanian orphans?
Star has apparently been supporting 7 children from SOS village since 2003, maybe buying them a house.
By Haaretz Service Tags: Israel news JordanFamous actress and philanthropist Angelina Jolie has been secretly supporting seven Jordanian children and is considering buying them a house, Contact music website reported on Wednesday.
Aside from her roles in blockbuster films, Jolie earned international celebrity for adopting three children from underdeveloped countries, her relationship with Brad Pitt, and serving as a UN ambassador.
The starlet sparked speculation of another adoption following her and her husband's recent visit to the Middle East.
Staff at SOS Children's Village in Amman, Jordan explained the trip to Contact music, and said that they were merely visiting the children, who have been sponsored by Jolie.
They added that Jolie has been providing three girls and four boys with education fees, food and clothing since 2003.
According to SOS employee Aysha Shahin, Jolie is kind-hearted, and is considering to buy the children a house of their own.
"Angelina will definitely support us by visiting again, possibly even sponsoring a house which will pay the children's expenses. She's a sweetheart, and one of our greatest supporters," Shahin said.
