Iran: If U.S. starts war with us, it won't be the one that finishes
Iranian naval commander quoted day after Tehran said it would limit cooperation with IAEA over int'l sanctions.
By ReutersA senior Iranian military official warned the United States against launching any attack on the Islamic Republic, a news agency reported on Monday, two days after the United Nations imposed new sanctions on Iran.
"If America starts a war against Iran, it won't be the one who finishes it," Morteza Saffari, naval forces commander of the elite Revolutionary Guards, was quoted as saying by the ISNA news agency.
"Our people will not even allow one American soldier to enter our country," Saffari said.
International tension over Iran's disputed nuclear programhas risen in recent days, sending oil and gold prices higher. The West suspects Iran is seeking to make atom bombs, a charge Tehran denies.
Iran said on Sunday it would limit cooperation with the UN's nuclear watchdog and vowed not to halt its atomic program "even for one second" after the Security Council voted to impose new arms and financial sanctions on Tehran.
On Friday, Iran's Revolutionary Guards seized 15 British navy personnel in the Gulf, sparking a diplomatic crisis.
The United States, which is leading efforts to isolate Iran over its nuclear ambitions, has said it prefers a diplomatic solution to the crisis but has not ruled out military options.
"We have the spirit of resistance and this is a factor to stop [them] Saffari said. "Our nation's unity and martyrdom-seeking spirit with God's help is always a guarantee for the Islamic Iran's resistance."
Iran to grant access to British detaineesIran will grant British diplomats access to the 15 British detainees in Tehran, state-television IRIB reported Monday.
The British detainees had reportedly been held so far in a secret place where even British diplomats had no access. IRIB further quoted Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki as denying speculations over Iran's intention to exchange the British detainees with Iranian diplomats arrested by the United States in Iraq.
Mottaki further said in a press conference in New York that the charge against the British sailors arrested in Iran is illegal entry into Iranian waters. Some press reports had said the marines would be charged with espionage. Mottaki added that the issue is being currently under legal examination without giving any further details.
Foreign Ministry General Director Rahim Pour had on Sunday told British Ambassador to Tehran, Geoffrey Adams, that all 15 British detainees in Tehran were in good health.
The Iranian official added that despite the Persian New Year holidays (until April 2), relevant Iranian officials were following the issue. He added that Iran has constantly tried to show restraint in border conflicts but "violation [of Iranian territory] and contradictory remarks by relevant British officials have caused some reactions within [Iranian] people and officials."
"Therefore, such suspicious moves require accurate and documented investigations," the Foreign Ministry official said. The tone from Tehran on Sunday was considered by observers as softer than in the first 48 hours following the arrest of the British service people in the Persian Gulf, indicating that Iran was looking for a way to settle the issue without further escalating the crisis.

well...here we are again...another threat out of iran....is there anyone in the world actually taking them serious..i really feel for the people of iran..that have to live under these leaders and their henchmen...
they are all mouth. I realy dont understand were they are comming from, do they realy think for one minute they can take on the us and uk combined forces. iraq could not stop them going in nor could affganstan. Im prodicting a war in a year.
Iran has god on its side? Really! Well im sure that will prove to be a great military strategy. They talk about resisting when the invasion comes, which it will, well if they had'nt have pissed us off then we would have no reason to attack them. Despot dictators like the mad Mullahs and that wanker Ahmedmedy man should realise, that threats made to the US generally come back to bite. Them Facist slimeballs will not live to see the day when the whole of Iran is free. LONG LIVE FREEDOM! LONG LIVE DEMOCRACY! www.middlegroundx.blogspot.com
Should the royal navy marines read once... ?Never give in, never give in, never; never; never; never - in nothing, great or small, large or petty - never give in except to convictions of honor and good sense ?You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life.? ?A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty.? ?Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference.? ?Difficulties mastered are opportunities won We shall show mercy, but we shall not ask for it? ?I never worry about action, but only about inaction? ?Danger - if you meet it promptly and without flinching - you will reduce the danger by half. Never run away from anything. Never!?
The Royal navy is respected as a great fighting force. It really give a hudge sense of pride and achievment. Ho ho ho ho. They didnt even fight the iranians..... Who said that? ?Never give in, never give in, never; never; never; never - in nothing, great or small, large or petty - never give in except to convictions of honor and good sense?
I wonder to know from you, when a country that its president said that holocaust didnt exist, promove a meeting with slogan a world without zionist entity and kidnapp soldiers at the sea would seat before unsc or be expulse. Waiting your answer.
But I said that britons were cowards, they didnt give a fight. These guys including some in sussex would like that israel do the work that belong to them, and after will say the same words that always. Nemesis, i am sorry, but you are babbing....
if it escalates, remember there will be other players this time. It is too bad Israel is so natural resource poor, otherwise there would be less coveting of the wealth of others, and less rumbling for war! And for those saying the capture of the 15 British sailors has nothing to do with Israel-why were the British in the area in the first instance? It is all part of the Iraq/Iran takeover! Keep in mind the previous interference by the West in Iran's affairs-oil. Zionist, right wing Israel wants to be a super power, that won't be acheived until she expands her land mass and authority! China and Russia are watching.
As you see britons are good murdering brazilians, they even fight, even there is quite a platoon! a platoon surrander with a booh! Now Blair will say that if the palestinan issue is fixed, than the soldiers will be release. Spelldogg! GB is praying to israel do deal with the iranins because they dont have the gutts and will for fight. All they do is boycott to israel academics. And support or who join and support terrorist.
What in the hell are you babbling about??????????
?If you define cowardice as running away at the first sign of danger, screaming and tripping and begging for mercy, then yes, Mr. Brave man, I guess I'm a coward.? To be one's self, and unafraid whether right or wrong, is more admirable than the easy cowardice of surrender to conformity.? ?Strength is Happiness. Strength is itself victory. In weakness and cowardice there is no happiness. When you wage a struggle, you might win or you might lose. But regardless of the short-term outcome, the very fact of your continuing to struggle is proof of your victory as a human being.? To run away from trouble is a form of cowardice and, while it is true that the suicide braves death, he does it not for some noble object but to escape some ill.
To the one, who every time insist to correct others.... What cowar means: 1. coward 1. One who is not brave 2. One who fears many things 3. The most insulting word known to man Synonyms: 1. scaredy-cat 2. loser **** COWARD, a. 1. Destitute of courage; timid; base; as a coward wretch. 2. Proceeding from or expressive of fear, or timidity; as coward cry; coward joy. cowardice As a legal definition, according to Subchapter X, Section 899, Article 99[1] of the United States Uniform Code of Military Justice, cowardice is defined as: Running away from an enemy; Abandoning, surrendering or otherwise fleeing any post that the soldier is tasked with defending; Endangering the safety of any post that the soldier is responsible for through disobedience, neglect or willful misconduct while in combat; Discarding arms or ammunition while in combat; Abandoning combat to plunder or loot or commit other crimes; Willfully failing to do all within the soldier's power to fight or defend when it is his duty to do so, while in combat; Refusing to give any needed aid or relief to fellow troops while in combat; or Performing other unspecified acts of "cowardly conduct" while in combat.
to inspire you: Cowards die many times before their deaths; The valiant never taste of death but once. Of all the wonders that I yet have heard, It seems to me most strange that men should fear; Seeing that death, a necessary end, Will come when it will come. William Shakespeare, "Julius Caesar", Act 2 scene 2 Greatest English dramatist & poet (1564 - 1616)
The post to which Bob responded was not from me, but from the Fake Clickfool who likes to suggest that I am obsessed by Mossad. His suggestion that I now want the help of Mossad was designed to elicit the sort of comment that Bob obliged with.
For once I agree with clickfool. Britain should be helped by the Mossad and every other intelligence gathering organization in Israel. The grabbing of the 15 goes way beyond acceptable conduct between nations - Iran's rulers have turned it into a rogue, militaristic, terrorist, fascist state. Time for the people of Iran to get rid of these creeps before it is too late.
"I am not you! I fight!" Have you been in a situation, mb, where you have had a couple of machine guns pointed at you, loaded, and with men ready to pull the triggers? No? I thought not.
Saffari is suffering from jungle fever. He is not thinking straight--"if America starts a war against Iran"?? The war has already commenced, since they have fueled the fires of rhetoric; rebuffed the UN; armed and trained Hezbollah & friends; encouraged Syria (hardcore) with mutual agreements; threatened the destruction of another nation; provided weapons, advisors, training for Hamas, etc. etc. And what about the Brits just abducted?? Iran's idea of war is to entrap the US. Iran has exposed itself fully--me thinks Saffari protesteth too much. Send him back to the jungle! His country has done NOTHING to advance peace!
Thats the difference between cowards and men.royal marines acted like cowards, not marines. As you say britons are good only with a desarmed brazilian civilian, killed in london. When a fight erupt they surrond. They are supposed to have radio, trainment on hand-to-hand fight, they carry sub-machine guns and granades. The mother ship should be near. Besides, they have hints from USA that they must be alert to this kind of behavior of iranians. as seen in many reports around the world. Everybody expect from a elite force a diferent behavior. What GB fear, the uprising of muslims in london?
"For someone who constantly bashes Israel and the Mossad, I find it strange to say the least that you would have the gall to ask for Israel`s help. Have a bit of dignity man." I did not write message #6, Bob. You've just rewarded the idiot Fake Clickfool. Good ole Chris (message # 10) was clever enough to spot the fake. "Quiet" spelt "Quite" once could be a typo. "Quiet" splet "Quite" twice is a man who struggles with English. I've left a number of messages to this effect on this Talkback thread but the Censor, for some curious reason, has seen fit to delete them all. Perhaps he enjoys leaving the impression that I am hoping for help from Mossad.
Folks without a draft the US doesnt have the land forces to fight Iran. Everyone knows this. Therefore any US war against Iran would be almost entirely an air campaign (including naval aviation). while this would indeed succeeed in destroying significant amounts of Iran's infrastructure it wont be enough to cripple it, nor keep it from unleashing its vast shiite allies in Iraq who so far have been on the sidelines from attacking US troops directly. nor from unleashing international terror attacks against US and allied interests worldwide. But the most important effect of US attacks will be rioting against US embassies in allied Muslim capitals i.e. Paksitan, Saudi and Egypt. As their police try to defend those embassies more and more local people will be shot and the furor will snowball until the regimes are toppled & replaced with pro-Iran regimes. The resulting confedeartion and all the M1 tanks, F-16 planes, E3-AWACs, and Paki nukes is the real goal of Iranian strategy - its a trap.
"if you only have a six barrel gun, you can at least take one with you. Loosers.Tiger's paper...." What makes me think that, if you were in a boat with a machine gun pointed at you, mb, you would be wishing you'd chosen brown trousers to wear that morning?
Both the British and the Iranians have the GPS coordinates for where the arrest/abduction happened. Why isn't the UK releasing them? Why were the inflatable boats so far away from the battleship that they couldn't retreat to the safety of the battleship's cover fire? I want coordinates of the battleship, the inflatables when they were picked up, and of the thalweg that demarks the border. What is the UK trying to cover up? Until the UK provides some facts, this is remains nothing more than a lawful border arrest which will have to go through due process just like in any other country. If the UK wants to claim it was an abduction, they need to release the GPS information to prove it. Until then everything else is conjecture.
custody...(via Hezbollah)...so whats the problem with all of these people calling the Brits names?
"17:01 UN human rights body votes to end scrutiny of Iran interior policies (Reuters) " This august UN commission has obviously decided that Iran is a paragon of democracy and tolerance, unlike Israel.
There is no need for one American/Brit soldier to set foot in Iran. This is not about regime change,(although that would be nice),but about destroying Irans' nuclear capabilities. A weeks worth of 24/7 air strikes would do enough damage to their nuclear sites to set them back years.
For someone who constantly bashes Israel and the Mossad, I find it strange to say the least that you would have the gall to ask for Israel's help. Have a bit of dignity man.
if you only have a six barrel gun, you can at least take one with you. Loosers.Tiger's paper.... Lt-Cdr Erik Horner, who has been working alongside the task force to which the 15 captured Britons belonged, told The Independent that his men would have fired on the Iranian Republican Guard rather than let themselves be taken hosta "The unique US Navy rules of engagement say we not only have a right to self-defense, but also an obligation to self-defense. They (the British) had every right in my mind and every justification to defend themselves rather than allow themselves to be taken. Our reaction was, 'Why didn't your guys defend themselves?'" he added. It was also reported that British intelligence had been warned by the CIA that Iran would seek revenge for the detention of five suspected Iranian intelligence officers in Iraq two months ago but refused to raise threat levels in line with their US counterparts.
I believe you got it wrong. The Iranian population is not as devided as the Iraqis are and yet look what is hapeaning there! While the US fully occupied do you honestly thing they can win? The victory against these enemies should come by bribing them with the stick and carrot tricks and not by sheer force. This is exactly why the Shaa fell. Unlike Iraq, Iran might yield early but will regain chaotic state very rapidly and a second Afghanistan will imerge. Unless watching people blasting chloring tanks next to children (as was just done last week in Bagdhad) is something you enjoy viewing, I suggest think tanks should start working on a better offensive.
The brits have lost their B......A bunch of coward weaklings who will bow to Ahmadenijad and Nasrallah.
I just want to wake up and read that either the US, the UK (after the recent abductions), Israel, or all three attacked and knocked out all the nuclear facilities. That will be a day to even more enjoy a hearty breakfast !
There is no way that the US can withstand a war with Iran, it is weak in Iraq, the majority of Shiites would back Iran, and the US has little support in the region. Sunni and Shitte would jump in the mayhem that would proceed and target americans. Americans are extremely disliked (mainly for its support of Israel) on the street, Iran can destroy the green zone, taking away any safe haven from the Iraquis who have sided with the Americans (Iraqis can then get their hands on them) and the region could sustain a fight ad nauseum...the americans would have to leave, or go broke...the end results would once again be a stronger Iran...and maybe the downfall of the Heshimite dictatorship in Jordan and the Saudi Royal Family. So I say, America CHARGE!!!! :)
Of course they can but is that any reason not to demand they stop their nuclearization one way or another? Pan Am Flight 103 which was blown up over Lockerbie Scotland was Kadaffi's response to President Reagan's rather small bombing of Libya. That is how Arabs / Muslims do things - stabging who they hate in the back. Iran may be able to do something similar or even bigger but that risk is worth the total obliteration of their nuclear and formal military response effectiveness if that becomes the only way to convince them they cannot possess a nuclear bomb. Of course, that Iranian leadership who openly call for the destruction of the US must be eliminated as well at the same time or later.
We are seeing how peacefull are the iranians... Britons show how you care about your servicemen and boycott iranian oil, boycott academics who support these regime, Ops, this brittons do this only to the jews, who you know, helped GB to build a empire .....
"I cant understand the capture of 15 soldiers and marines without a fight. what they are waitting, idf and usa marines support?" These sailors and marines had handguns only. The Iranian boats were pointing machine guns at them.
..and we will find Ahmadeninja in another rathole like Saddam when the war starts!!!!
I cant understand the capture of 15 soldiers and marines without a fight. what they are waitting, idf and usa marines support? Why britons need trafalgar subs, challanger mbt, eurofighters if they dont use, just to improve their defense industry? The britons have no gutts to combat iranians, they rather say bad words towards israel and usa and pray to israel and usa to do the job that they cannot. What red ken would say about that? loosers....
Ignoring United States' objections, India on Monday said it will go ahead with the proposed gas pipeline project with Iran - New Delhi. US, UK and other Tadpoles, you're in a hole already! so STOP digging. Think wisely.
"Our people will not even allow one American soldier to enter our country," - Morteza Saffari The US only intends to occupy the oil fields adjacent to Iraq.
stop whining people. even us diplomats are privately speaking about accepting it, despite israeli pressure. not to mention europeans. first of all, get a good translator, and check if anyone said something about 'wiping israel of the map' - context people, context. second - how did israel get it's nukes? legally? publicly? no! you lied to JFK about it. you lied to international community, and you lied to IAEA. basically - you lied to everyone. you were even willing to cooperate with cruel, racist and inhumane regime of apartheid south africa because this would help you achive your goals. so stop talking about 'international law', 'rights' and other 'stuff' you yourselves don't give a damn about. while you were building your weapons, your ministers and prime ministers openly called for the expulsion and extermination of all arabs from palestine (yes - it's a fact: ben gurion, golda meir, begin, etc.)how about this one: "We must expel Arabs and take their places." -- David Ben Gurion
What a big talk! Unfortunately, Iran could crumble in a week or less when the crunch comes. The world should never tolerate fanatics at the helm of any country. They are a menace to the whole world.
What is with these leaders and the boastful hyperbole that pervades all their threats? Do they really think that it scares us? I would be more scared by what is not stated. Give back the Brits, you twits.
At this point, we're only in Iraq for three reasons. 1. To keep the factions apart. 2. To keep the oil flowing. 3. To keep out Al-Qaida as a political entity. We can pull out anytime right now and just let the folks there, just slaughter each other. Anyway, we learned our lessons from WWII. We don't just let things happen to us. Not anymore. No one says Iran is just a walk in the park. There are cells probably embedded here since the 1980's too! But these folks in charge of Iran right now are nuts. They already said what they're planning to do with those nukes so don't expect us to just let it happen. Calm down! Eat the spicy rice and go watch Al-Jazeera!
Well, that won't that hard to predict, because even in the Iraq war, the Americans have been very confused just about how to stay alive in JUNGLE of BAGHDAD. Iran is at least 100 times more powerfull than Iraq before the WAR.
Yes... not one American will set foot in Iran. But some well placed munitions will disable Iran's ability to threaten their neighbours and traffic in the Gulf and will cause significant delays in their attempts to develop nuclear bombs. And yes again, Iran will finish it... by waving a white flag.
Let's hear all your threats. The time is now. Peaceful Uranium Huh???
"We will bury the American soldiers at the walls of Baghdad!" "It will be the biggest American cemetary in history!" "There are no American troops in Baghdad!" Blah blah blah Last week an Iranian official (before the current kidnapings of British personnel) stated that they would capture blond blue-eyed Western generals and feed them to Iranian fighting cocks. Borat couldn't have put it better.
Maybe this will end the billions in trade agreements the EU has with Iran for technology.
It is NOT the whole NATION, but MANY are involved in that seeking.... they stand in tehran square chanting death to israel, death to america, now its death to britain, he has thoroughly brainwashed his people, and taken them into a dangerous way of thinking....this is INSANE and the MAJORITY of IRAN does NOT want a war with anyone !! This is sad, because the innocent will be the ones to pay for the PRIDE AND STUPIDITY OF THEIR LEADERS !! I believe he is delusional. American and other intelligence agencies have penetrated Iran and they make false claims that they cant, and why did the revolutionary guards deflect from Iran ? Thats a pretty sure sign that Iran Leaders are NOT all they claim they are , and are indeed not stable. If they were seeking peaceful nuclear power, they would have no reason not to cooperate with the international community, and why on earth did Russia agree to help them ? I cant understand that.
If the western world was serious about Iranian agression, they would give Iran 48 hours to comply before blowing it to kingdom come!
AND THIS TIME IT HAS NOTHING TOO DO WITH ISRAEL!!!!LOL
Quite frankly I believe that Mrs Beckett gave express orders for the Cornwall not to intervene. It is not possible that the comander did not see them coming way before and he must have been in urgent communication with MOD and Foreign office officials. They doubtlessly funked what had to be done, what should have been done ; that is sunk all the Iranian boats before they had time to approach. It will take a bit of time for the truth to come out until our Journalists start asking the right questions.
fishermen, poaching in Australian waters. Perhaps the Brits. were fishing, in deep water!
Obviously the selective humanitarians of the world did not get too upset the last time Iranian children, with plastic keys to heaven, were sent running over landmines.
Post No. 6 was written by me, and is indeed authentic. You are "quite" correct in pointing out the spelling error. Thanks for the heads up. Next time, I'll make sure to have my morning coffee first. (;-) CF
anybody remember "comical Ali" - the Iraqi propaganda minister who said that Americans would regret attacking Iraq, that they would 'burn in their tanks' ?
academic, i don't think you know the art yet, now you know what the idf has been doing to lebo's and pals, i hear you screaming and outraged at what has happened but you don not condemn the idf for similar tactics. FYI, the west is tightening the screws on iran for something they have a right as israel, america and others do to develope nuclear missiles, I DON'T CARE WHAT ANYONE SAYS, everyone has a right, hypocracy in the muslim world is correct, they are NOT adhering to the koran correctly, but neither are jews, christians, hindu's and the rest, i don't single out one race but compare with all, how about you do the same ?.
In terms of easy targets, Iran hits the mark. Its infrastructure has fallen apart with underinvestment and lack of technology. Its civil airplanes fall out of the sky as it doesnt receive replacement parts from the american company boeing for its ageing fleet. Its income per person is less than a tenth of any european countries and the poor Iranians cant even afford to fix the leaks in their oil pipelines. Its military is antiquated relying on old soviet and North Korean technology. Its airforce and navy could be destroyed within a couple of hours. Any of the allies could drop a few N bombs on Iran and bring it to its knees immediately. It may fool the foolish muslim world but anyone with an ounce of intelligence can see what a pathetic hole Iran is.
The U.S. could use Iran like a revolving door if they wanted to; coming and going as they please. I am reminded of the Iraqi military spokesman who claimed on T.V. that no U.S. army personnel would ever reach Bagdad just as an American tank drives behind him. Iranian leadership is living in a dream world. It is going to be painful when they finally get woken up.
losing their brightest and best to the West for jobs, defections of higher military personnel. Caught time and again in deception. Syria looking like the lonely step child. Hezbollah dysfunctional. Sounds like an act of desperation to me.
The USA is forced to go into wars. It's economy would collapse without the war industry. However, the US usualy selects an easy soft target to attack, destroy, and re-build. Soft targets include countries whom the US already has economic relations, sufficent inteligence information, and internal colaboration, in oder to weaken a country and create a power strugle. I think the USA would probably look for an easier target than Iran.
Cfool, The capture of the british soldiers was an act of war by Iran. Any country whose soldiers are captured would consider it an act of war. If Iran had thought the Brits were trespassing they could have escorted the Brits out but instead they kidnapped them at gun point. Furthermore the Iranians have refused the captured soldiers access to our consul as well as refusing to inform the UK government there whereabouts. This is against the Geneva convention and is a blatant abuse of prisoner rights. The Iranians complained about Gtmo bay but treat their prisoners of war considerably worse with mock executions, parading them on TV blindfolded e.t.c. It just demonstrates the hypocrisy of the muslim world. It seems they only consider Islamic human rights. Britain should give diplomacy a chance but the Iranians only care about pride. What a bunch of morons. They are making powerful enemies fast. Send in the eurofighters. Iran is a terrorist nation full of fascists.
If someone takes the trouble to impersonate Clickfool, they should at least learn to spell "quiet" correctly
what happened to you? You hate Israel and now you want Israel to help us! You are such a weasel like our cowardly forces who surrenderd without so much as a whimper. What a bunch of losers!
Iran has two secret weapons it relies on to win the war against the west: 1 - Suicide bombers, it has literally batallions of brain washed troops ready to blow themselves up whenever the Mullahs give the order. 2 - The tacit aliance with the west's polically correct left wing cowards who are ready to defend anything except their own values and honor.
Totally agree ahmadinegad & co are playing a very dangerous game and the people who will suffer are the ordnary iranians. where have we heard this type of rhetoric before? remember comical ali? when goverments start this type of posturing it's usually to distract from domestic/political problems at home. as to the british naval personell being held.anyone know the nationality of the ship they boarded, and its cargo?
Quite diplomacy and patience is what is needed to solve the crisis of the 15 captured British navy personnel. Iran has shown itself to be a formidable foe. The Iranian leadership is subtle, capable of outthinking and outmaneuvering its enemies. It is absolutely incumbent on Israel's Mossad, as well as the American CIA to share all relevant intelligence information that may have in the event that diplomatic efforts prove to be unsuccessful.
The little ogre is barking loud. It is a known pattern, bark loud and then when you get your backside kicked you cry loud about how the US, it's alies and friends are cruel and evil. Israel is sick and tired of this pattern, unfortunately the west is getting to know it first hand with Iran.
has time come to finish the new hitlers?id it the greek kairos ie opportunity????
... entertain their own martyrdom, but as cowards they will gladly accept that of others for the revolutionary cause! Eighty percent of the Iranian populace would accept green cards and flee to the freedom and opportunities in the US if given the opportunity. Ahmadinejad and Khameni would then be left with the remaining twenty percent of hardliners from which they choose their appointees from anyway. Sorry to alarm you Saffari but US military personnel have already entered and exited your country without you knowing it, and it should still be fresh in your mind what happened shortly after your country publicly boasted that no foreign intelligence agents have ever been able to permeate your sophisticated security services.
Morteza Saffari has highlighted the core of the problem facing the world today in a simple 3 word phrase, "martyrdom-seeking spirit". Martyrdom is not a status that one seeks. It is a status thrust on you by a murderous enemy. If you actively seek martyrdom then the murderous enemy is you.
