Ayatollah Khamenei: Peace talks a cover up for Israeli 'crimes'
Iran's supreme religious leader says Palestinian resistance will dismantle 'phony and fabricated Israeli regime', Iran's state-run Press TV reports.

Speaking to a crowd of worshippers during Eid el Fitr prayers at Tehran University, Khamenei called the current Israeli-Palestinian peace talks a cover up for Israeli "crimes" against the Palestinians.
"The United States and the West just sit back and watch the suppression of the Palestinian nation, and yet they arrange talks for peace, what peace? Between which people?", Press TV quoted Khamenei as saying.
Khamenei added that "pressure cannot crush [Palestinian] resistance."

Always has been the Iranian hit on Israel. Nothing ever to do with wiping it off the map as propagandizers so like to say but rather it is the regime that must disappear.
The Iranians have been threatening us through several of our "Regimes" The only difference being that our "Regimes" are democratically elected by the will of the people. If Iran was not threatening to wipe us off the map and only wanted a regime change why do they need nuclear weapons. Jake what kind of "Regime" would Iran want in Israel so that they would stop treatening to wipe us off the map. Maybe its a regime of Ayatollahs.

And what about its agreement with Egypt, when Israel gave Sinai back? Contrarary to what Egyptians are saying that they won then, in 1973 Israel was closing in on Cairo and Damascus and Leonid Brezhnev of the USSR have saved both Egypt and Syria from total defeat. What about setting up Palestinian Authority? Yasser Arafat and his PLO was in total political wilderness at the time and there was no real pressure for Israel to do that.
Lets see now Israel has twp peace agrrements. In the Egyptian peace agreement Israel gave back the entire Sinai including the oil wells and removed several setllements from the norhtern Sinai. It is worth noting that Egypt refused to take back Gaza as part of the peace agreement. Israel tried to make peace ith Gaza. It pulled out all its settlers and gace the people of Gaza over $14 million of greenhouses which the promptly looted and destroyed. In 1994 Israel let the PLO back into the Wes Bank and gave up control of much of the area. What did we get for it, the second intifada and the loss of hundreds of lives to suicide bombers. Israel has a peace agreement with Jordan. Jordan has also ceded control of the West Bank and east Jeusalem. So it seems Jake that not even the Arab world wants your beloved Palestinians.
