I don't want to criticize Ms. Farrow, but her comments come across as incredibly patronizing.

So, now there's another person who's name and reputation will have to be run down, in an attempt to discredit what they said they saw. But there's a problem with that approach. It's like using a rag to mop up a spill. If you are so busy mopping up the spills that you can't take the time to wring it out and let it dry a bit, all you end up doing is making a bigger mess. It's still sopping wet from Goldstone (and it's looking like you missed a fair bit of that spill). The Mia spill may look small, but that rags awfully wet.

These actors who pose as Ambassadors truly annoy me. They visit countries, pose with the poor and destitute and the destroyed. They are "outraged" by their conditions, say a few words to show support and come back to their lavish hollywood mansions. Farrow is no exception, I am sorry. She should be outraged by what she saw in Gaza because it is a travesty of justice. But what is she doing beyond posturing and feeling "outraged?" Is she chaining herself to a home that is about to be demolished? No. Is she eating one meal of tomatoes and olives a day to show solidarity with Gazans? No. Is she going to write about her experience and get it published somehow? No. So please Ms. Farrow, take your pictures and go back to your rich and comfortable lifestyle and spare the rest of us who actually give a damn!

Why don't you expend your energies and clean up your own country first before you express outrage.

I can see why Mia went into acting instead of scholarly work. Mia, not only would international aid flow if the rockets stopped, but the partial blockade would stop as well. You can't expect people to nourish those that seek to kill them. Yet, this is precisely what Israel does in providing water, electricity, petrol and medical supplies. Place the blame where it lies. And lets see you lead by example by cooperating with those that seek to hurt you and your children.
