IDF arrests two suspects plotting to attack Israel for Hamas

East Jerusalem residents allegedly recruited while living in Jordan and Dubai to attack civilian locations.

Israeli security forces last month arrested two Hamas militants suspected of plotting attacks against civilian targets across Israel, it was revealed on Sunday following the lifting of a gag order.

East Jerusalem residents Merad Namar and Merad Camal were detained in a raid at the Be'er Sheva Central Bus Station. The suspects, who both carry Israeli identification cards, were allegedly recruited by Hamas while residing respectively in Jordan and Dubai. Throughout the past few months, Namar and Camal allegedly held additional meetings with foreign agents in Saudi-Arabia, Jordan and Turkey.

Israeli intelligence collected information on the suspects upon their return to Israel, and learned of a number of targets apparently plotted for attack.

During a search of their belongings, police found a portable memory card with detailed plans for terror attacks in central Israeli targets including the bus stations in Be'er Sheva and Jerusalem, the Malkha Mall in Jerusalem, the hotel district along the Tel Aviv promenade and the Israel Defense Forces base in Tel Hashomer.

The suspects were allegedly supposed to receive explosives and other weapons from Hamas, to stash in a cave in the Sataf Forest near Jerusalem.

On Monday, an indictment was filed against the two suspects at the Jerusalem District Court, on the grounds of conspiracy with foreign agents, membership in a terror organization, aiding the enemy and espionage.

Egypt can't stand them so much that it is building a steel wall to cut off their weapons (sometimes food) tunnels. Jordan can't stand them so much that they are revoking Jordan citizenship from immigrants who once lived west of the Dead Sea. Lebanon can't stand them so much that they won't grant them citizenship or let them have jobs, or even leave the camps. Saudi Arabia can't stand them so much that they will not let even one into their oil rich country. Why doesn't the entire Arab world love the Pals, but still our dear Nuttalie Durson love them? Durson. Doesn't sound Arabic. Does it?

Yep, Israel sure is to blame for everything. 1. Iran/Iraq war - tens to hundreds of thousands die, including with chemical weapons. Somehow Israel is responsible. 2. Lebanese Civil War - Sunni/Shiite/Christians kill one another for power. Somehow Israel is responsible. 3. Sudan - Muslim/Christians kill each other by the thousands in political and land grab. Somehow Israel is responsible. 4. Saudia Arabia/Yemen - Once again, Sunni/Shiite and Israel is responsible. 5. Do I need to go on. Israeli/Palestinian warfare is a sideshow. Millions of Arabs have died in the last 60 years in conflicts that have NOTHING to do with Israel. It is an easy target and a distraction for the ruling autocrats. If the Arab world spent half as much effort on creating real economies for its people instead of fostering hatred, then the death rate would be significantly lower, but then somehow you'd blame Israel for that too.

thank you for proving what a useless idiot you are..you do nothing for your "brothers and sisters"..you live in confortable LA...aint that nice for you eh?...same thing as meshaal, and all the other cowardly monkeys sitting in syria, tunisia etc.. if you want to strap on a designer suicide vest, go for it. What a disgrace the palestinians are,and the world somehow sympathizes with them! I call that anti semitism. If the world REALLY wanted to help them, they would insist on their de arming and recognizing israel as a jewish state, legally legitimate and forever a jewish sovereign state. To support the pals while they maintain a decades old policy of terror & rejectionsism only fuels the conflict which these other nations SAY they want an end to. The pals plan, as always, is to wait, take little bits, until the day they think they can take it all. Euro ears hear one thing and palestian mouths say another. I'm not sure the euros really believe the mantra "side by side in peace".

Is that how you hope to free Denmark from the Muslims? It is plain and simple; the extreemist Muslims are out to take over what they can, Israel, Europe the world... Denmark is one of the countries that they made a lot of progress so far. Do you think that it is cool? The moment to you will start expressing it, you will have to deal with this people just as Israel does.

There has been a peace deal on the table from Saudi Arabia and the Arab Leauge that if Israel returns to the 67 borders . That means peace with all 22 members including Iran. I'm glad they caught this plot and saved innocent civillian lives if in fact the plot was real and not just more lies from Israel, but please keep im mind there is a cease fire between Hamas and Israel . That means no rockets fired into Israel and no targeted assasinations of Hamas leaders . Israel apparently just assasinated a Hamas political leader in Dubia

israeli policy of Grab and Greed is the cause of all troubles in the ME. Israel must understand it is Middle East State and should learn to use Diplomacy in order to live in peace in the heart of the Arab World.

Attacking civilians travelling from Haifa to Tel Aviv is not defence of the Palestinian people. It actually amounts to a direct attack on Israeli civilians and an indirect attack on Palestinian People and aspirations. Moreover, its Israel who defends herself, not the other way around. The deal that's been on the table, ever since the Arab armies attacked Israel in 1967 is still on the table. The failure of Arabs to take the deal, peace, recognition of Israel and negotiation of borders, is what has caused the misery of the Pals, that & their demented and barbaric desire to spill Jewish blood and liquidate Israel. Send your son Nat and yourself.

If your name is really Natallie.... I feel sorry for you for calling terrorism a defense against the Palestinian. It is because of People like you that the Palestinians have not gotten to a point where they have reasons to live and not die. I feel more pity for you actually. No wonder people like you are hiding like cowards and sending other people?s kids to their death.

Hamas has every right to defend the Palestinian people Israel's continued onslaught. Either one of the fighters pictured could easily be my own son. It won't be long before the next attempt.
