The ex-Arkansas governor, who sought the Republican Party's presidential nomination last year but lost to John McCain, spoke to reporters while pressing on with his three-day tour of the country.
Huckabee, who arrived in Israel Sunday as the guest of several rightist organizations, visited Jewish neighborhoods in East Jerusalem on Monday and was also set to tour the Jewish section of Hebron and Ma'aleh Adumim, the largest settlement in the West Bank.
He slammed the Obama administration while in East Jerusalem, saying the U.S. should not "be telling Jewish people in Israel where they should and should not live."
Huckabee is considered a possible Republican presidential candidate in 2012.
